as much as I want him to stay, I can understand how performing this album is hard for Isaac. In every performance of Basketball Shoes I've seen, Isaac is on the verge of tears screaming the last lyrics. It's incredibly powerful, but I can see how that displaying that level of vulnerability to a larger audience than ever can be very hard on his mental health. Sad to see him go but I respect his decision :c

Dawg idk how I didn’t realize this the first like thousand times I watched this but I think the final like VERY final chorus at like 13:10 is completely improvised by Isaac. After the beautiful noisy wall he looks up at everyone and hits the massive low D chord and starts singing again, and everyone else looks at him like “oh shit we’re goin again?” Like Charlie’s drums even take a second to get in the tempo again bc he wasn’t expecting it, but they still all come back in to make it again and it sounds so so so beautiful.
