Awwww Chilo!!! THIS is so BEAUTIFUL... what a DIFFERENCE in his RESPECTFUL ATTITUDE about SERVICE And openness to LEARN. I AM Mexican born and risen (my mother is Mexican and my Father is from Haiti 🇭🇹). Just a few days ago I needed a haircut and I am living in the Mexican Caribbean (recently moved) all my life experienced that hairdressers would said things like ohhh your hair is soooo curly, etc. This time an ignorant hairdresser with a terrible manager with non sense of empathy refused to give me the service... the lady that was supposed to cut my hair said ohhhh this afrio hair I haven’t do haircut on someone like you.... pffff Thanks to the refusal.... I ended finding MY GIRL a nice lady with a completely different attitude and paying very little. Thank you for sharing your experience... it reminded me when I lived in China and they where nice!

I had lived in Japan when I was a kid and I loved getting my hair done there. I’ve been told all my life that I was nappy headed by other American stylist and then I go to Japan and they are so gentle with detangling. Even when I got my hair braided, I felt literally no pain. Eventually, my mom found someone who could do a silk press and I looked cute for days. I distinctively remember that every time I got my hair done and it took longer than expected, they would always give me juice and candy. It was a very good experience.

U can tell when someone truly love their craft and is a true professional. Because some people wouldn't even try. But because he actually loves doing hair he was willing to try something he had never done before. I give him A for effort. The thing is I get what u are saying but at the same time it’s just irritating that most of the time black hair dressers can do everyone’s hair but anyone that’s not black doesn’t know how to do black hair and what are the chances of me trusting a non black hair dresser that doesn’t have experience with my hair texture? Probably like 0.5 percent if I’m being completely honest lol
@savvivixen84903 жыл бұрын
@@taelerrwashington9712 You're very justified in feeling that way, especially for your stated reasoning. I love his attitude about it! He doesn’t look at it as a burden or something to be scared of. He looks at it as something new to learn! This is a good approach to have in life and on the job

I like how gentle he looked when trying to detangle her hair. Also while washing it, he was fully checking it out. Like he didn't want to break it 🙂.
