I believe if I understand your question. By turning the black knob near the top of the handle once you have adjust to the desired height turn knob back to tighten. Hope this helps.

I have a small lawn (flat 600sf) this may be a good solution for us. Your instruction is very clear. I am wondering will this use up lot of string for each use? I assume I do not need to constant feed the string to keep it running? Thx for the video.

Short answer is no & yes your questions. I can go a whole season or more before having to replace with more string. Sometime the string may get foul up, but easily open and feed some string and it will operate as normal self feed.

I love this video. It was very helpful. But I'm still having trouble with the guard for trimmer. Did you have to twist anything for the guard to go in? I'm pushing really hard on mines but it will not go in

Can the wheels be replaced easily with other wheels? I have St. Augustine grass which requires 3.5 to 4.0 inches and this I believe the specs say 2.5 inch max. Could you take a look and let me know if that wheel is a simple screw on with a cap or did they make it impossible to throw on larger wheels?

So the strings are what is cutting the grass in the mower. There is no blade? .. so could i replace the string with a stronger kind for a better cut?

Yes, it is a string that cuts and it does pretty good. However I’m fairly sure it can be changed out with the different kinds of blades on the market. It is no different from any of the regular weed eaters that I have ever owned.
