I love my Black and Decker Handy Pop n Serve. I recently found a used one on eBay for a good price, and it works quite well. It replaced my original model, that finally stopped heating (though the fan still worked) after 25 or so years of almost daily use. Great product, and still the best design and function of any I’ve tried. Too bad they’re out of production (:

The wear ever was definitely the most popular model, I remember seeing them everywhere. It would win if you made batch after batch cause you don't have to take it apart to dump the popcorn.

Good point! We only make a batch at a time. In our house, it's the Handy Pop N Serve. I like that it doesn't shoot popcorn around the kitchen.

I love these vintage appliance videos. I have a question. Do you find these in working order or do you repair them? I'm sure the hunt for these items is half the fun!! I see them all the time in my area.

Sometimes appliances need repair (especially ice cream makers, for some reason - probably because infrequent use isn't very good for motors), but mainly cleaning and testing. The hunt is definitely my favorite part of this job - that, and having grateful customers who are excited to find an item they weren't sure they'd ever be able to find again.
