Hold down the start button while clean is scrolling across the screen. It’ll start brewing and should do everything automatically from there

I have the coffee maker that’s in the middle and it does not have an ‘auto’ button on the maker. I ran vinegar/water through then just cold water through.. the clean error is still showing up..

It would be nice if this was stated somewhere in the manual. Yet it is not. I had to look all over the internet to find out why my coffee maker kept flashing CL when I had just run vinegar and water through it.

My third one of these in five years just died. Time for a new brand. Every manufacturer keeps add stupid "features" that just make the unit die faster. How about using your design skills to make a coffeemaker that is simple, easy to clean and long lasting instead of designed obsolescence.

Al realizar este proceso de auto limpieza, tal cual cómo lo dice el manual, luego de oprimir el botón de auto por 5 segundos, se activa la función de autoliempieza, pero solo por 1 minuto y se paga esta función y no se llena la jarra como indica el video, solo pasa un poco de agua, pero no entiendo porque no funciona correctamente esta función? si alguien me puede ayudar le agradecería

Where does the CL light show up on the display? Cleaning light.

At the bottom of the display. Make sure you press and hold the cleaning(Auto) button to start it and not the power button.

CORRECTION- It is the "Auto" button you press and hold. There is no button marked "cleaning". My bad,sorry.

the white vinegar I found at the store is already diluted 19:1 vinegar to water. where can I find vinegar that is diluted 1:1 as you recommend?

Buy 1 gallon white vinegar and pour 6 cups which is half into the coffee pot. Pour another 6 cups. The second half with just water. Now you have a 1 to 1 ratio of half vinegar and half water.

@@frankschwarz408 vinegar comes in many different concentrations. I can buy one that is already premixed 50% (1:1) as you have advised. Normal cooking vinegar only 2.5% (19:1)

@@NinjasOfOrca I just did it. 12 cups half vinegar and half water. I bought Lady's Choice Distilled White Vinegar (%5 Acidity) 128 FL OZ (1 Gallon) . I ran it thru the machine twice. Then I used only fresh water 3 more times. I changed the water each time. I made sure I could no longer smell Vinegar. The smell went away around the 4th run. It worked like a charm. No need to overthink it. Just keep it simple.

I had a problem with my new coffee maker, so I got another one in the mail, it was a bad coffee maker came to me dirty from Spectrum. I called and I got another one in the mail, this coffee maker was used and had coffee in the carafe dirty and I called right away. I was told I would get a refund. I hope so. Weird to send out not one but 2 used coffee makers! That is filthy of your employees or whoever sent the 2 to me. Very wrong , just filthy behavior! The coffee maker wont even clean out, after the cleaning process the carafe has bits of stuff full in it, so dirty of Black + Decker to have this behind them. Used though, so wrong!

Ridiculous, I've cleaned your damn coffee maker several times and it still says clean. It's a freaking coffee maker I should be able to run it whether it's clean or not. Never will buy your products again.
