good idea to increase workspace. however i had to watch with the volume off as the difference in loudness between speech and tool sound is too big. when i was listening to the speech and then the tool sound was like a bomb went off in my speakers

Yes.. This smaller attachment stays on the workmate 24/7.. Easy to move if I need to use the clamps..
