"Just make the bag shared" may actually be a way more complicated issue than it looks. A normal equippable item is a list of stats; there's no gulf of difference between a sword and an earring, and at its core that's likely why cross-class weapon "sharing" is a thing. The toolbag however is a special bit of code that holds 'references' to items - code like "when used, reduce the durability of a specific item by one." Given how this update will go through (wherein your tools will be removed from the bag and Heidel'd automatically) it sounds like the tools are actually saved to the bag item instance itself, and not some easily accessible (by the game/server/whatever) in-between void. An 'item' is not a usable stat, so to prevent crazy things from happening, it's probably forbidden not as a balance thing but instead as a protective measure from unforeseeable code interactions. It wouldn't surprise me if this system is actually made from a proposed transition to a sharable bag - with added QoL of just making it innate. (Might be why the Artina Sol gets excluded, as well, due to its nonstandard effects.) I'd also add that may be the crux of why the riding crop and sailing log are not (yet?) in; their effects are nonstandard, being that they affect something that is *not* your character. With this update creating the needed 'in-between void' I mentioned before, however, they may just need to do a bit of tweaking the mount system to check the "void"'s hypothetical riding crop slot. They can't move forward on that tech until they can trust the new tech works first!

They never said that they were including the gear or accessories, so not quite sure what you mean tbh. Handy that I can just keep my sailing log equipped normally all the time now. Keep up the streams Ted.

I wouldn't call myself a veteran, but I do have multiple gurus. I'd be hyped to be able to do all of my gathering on Season so that I can avoid red players.

Okay imho what they should of done was made the UI for the clothes & Accessories u could put 1 piece of clothes for each LS in there then the accessories with a spot for the Laina tool bag to be equipped & then the fishing rods and hunting riffles at the bottom. As someone who has the Manos crop on every single toon I don’t find that a huge deal but if they wanna they can add that as well only need a base crop on non horse trainers honestly for the speed boost. Only need the Pen on my horse trainer but the fishing chairs share the same slot as the riding crop which they change after every fishing cycle so not sure how that will work out .

Seems as though they're holding back from making it a great update mostly because of Season restrictions, though they're allowing Manos, etc. tools, so that makes it odd. Hope they take that threads comments in to strong consideration, that'd be an update I would really appreciate.

I'm still a relatively new player, just over 1k hours, still on my 1st seasonal character. I think the change for life tools on all characters is nice, but I do agree that they could do some things better. The processing stone, sailing log, chair, and riding crop can be added. Same as the clothes. Also, what about the fish tank? Another item I think could be added. Just set it up so that it keeps the 50 slot capacity, not per character but per family and add it in. In addition, the ability to remove artifacts via preset from one character to another. If you have a preset equipped for a lifeskill on one character, but want to use a different character, you have to unequip the artifacts, to use them on the other character. And if you forget, you have to relog back over to swap.

All they had to do was expand the tool bag and let us put it in our family inventory, people would then spend money on slots and weight for family inv and put events in the game to earn or win family inv and weight just like regular inventory slots from some events/log in/loyalty company has a way to make money and players are happy because they get to choose to buy it or wait and get it from future events/log in/loyalty. Everyone wins and they look like the good guys.

Totally agree on this point with you. Its realy just the liana tool in a different place. We need the change for the gear and accessory... Hopefully they wil listen. Also buff lifeskill by getting more "trashloot" or something to make it more attractive to do and less CM centered. Cheers

I had Ashlynn argueing with me about lifeskilling telling me its in an amazing spot and makes great money, but when i told her i never hear that from anyone but her, what makes her opinion so special, she got offended and we argued for like 20 minutes i gave up. In the end her point was 2000 mastery makes a difference but i still think shes in denial, do you have a video explaining how mastery doesnt make up for lifeskills downfalls?

To be honest, there's no point in arguing. Any content creator will tell you the game is in a perfect state because J says its so even though the feedback forums are overrun with LIfeskilling woes and complaints.

Also this in particular kind of reminds me of the stubborn pothead who cannot admit that it has its downfalls or negatives, whether it be motivation, mental problems, stupidity, memory problems, etc etc, "i can do anything high just as well" they just cant admit anything, for example my mother driving high for like 30 years, i reamed her out one year real bad (serial car accidents) and she stopped driving high, guess what, no more accidents. Omg im ranting. Yea ok so I gave up at the right time then xD cannot convince them otherwise.

Pastor, I think you’re asking too much of your council. I suspect the incomplete version is what we will see. Console has only seen broken everything. Loml - bosses broken 1st week, no sniper rifle or sniping period. Loml shit lifeskill and market place for loml items. No winter region- I’m sure it will be broke also when it comes. Magnus- lol um maybe broke well how do we know, they call it magnus lol but um it’s more a port system that costs us money. We were sure pen enhancement was turned off till god gear came out. My guild would probably crap themselves if some came out with enough effort put in to it to make a peanut butter sandwich. To think about us the players before crimson is finished would be well a sin or dishonorable. Profit before the people says the mad king. I still think they are shrinking the data load for future buyout. Nope tried the hole harpooning, you must be finished with the game to even consider, nope never mind not even then lol. So pastor can we talk about fantasy in your next episode, we’re we discuss console getting caught up to pc updates so we can transfer our accounts. Like seriously they made so many promises to console years ago and then dishonored themselves and think we will forget. Anyway thanks for the video. I’m looking forward to shared tools system, the bag with places for crop and musket would be better.
