Building boats was so awesome. I built many boats. Was building boats for weeks. Then I fished on them. Sold my fish in the desert, crsfted som crates, sold them and built some boats again. It was so awesome. I am installing the gsme now again for just building boats, roleplaying is awesome. I am not kidding here, it takes time but it is fun.

Stuff like this is why I am so excited for the game, because since it doesn't just throw the stuff you want/need at you so easily it makes every little thing you do have a sense of accomplishment. It may feel like a time sink for those players short on time, but in the end it will feel worth it when you achieved it yourself.

Guess i will give you some hints... - First tier processing knowledge is from Hidel, main street and the market (where tool vendor is) - Blackstone powder can be acquired from grinding crystals - yellow rarity give you like 35 (random) but don't grind blackstones - those are worth more whole. - You can also craft fishing boat in Ilya ( NE of Velia , ferry can take you there) Remember boat got limtied durability (yellow)- it will last quite a while but once it breaks you need to make new one (health - red bar - as when it gets damaged can be repaired) I guess i should also mention you can just swim just as fast and the fatigue damage you take is small ( can be easily healed with pots).

Also, best to have alts as each share energy cap, I have my main character and 3 alts. I log to the alts and process all the materials and with this method I only use there energy and not my mains :). Thx for this video!

The BDO crafting system reminds me of the EQ1 crafting system. Crafting so many small components in order to craft the end component. Like he said, grueling but ultimately rewarding if you like to see your actions amount to something physical.

I also accidentally built the ferry first haha. I will say Illya also has fishing boat and takes less nodes to connect. So if you want to build one I recommend unlocking that area and investing in the city, at the same time process the needed materials at other cities and then ship them to Illya. Also as Tin take longer to obtain I recommend going to Trent and mining around to the west of the city. I usually can get 100 tin, 90 lead, 130 rough stone within an hour easily. Hope this helps others building.

Making the boat is not even close to being as hard as you say. It takes a little bit of time but that's it. I have all the mats and I am almost done making it.

+Gesitre TV The easiest one in velia is raft but painfully slow, the rowboat in velia takes more than a gazillion mats for some reason (esp the lead ingot-need knowledge or something). Your best bet if you want to fish in far of northern islands is just swim, just bring a lot of potions to heal ur hp from fatigue damage.

+Benjamin Buljevic you can get killed by other players when u afk fish, your boat gets destroyed but I believe you can "revive" it at the ferry manager, just as when your horse gets killed - for a few silver.

I dont understand how to phasing and the distribution of players is gonna work. Are there factions and can you pick which one you want? Are there different zones or is it just one big one and are there gonna be seperate servers? Cause if you're saying to "mine stone here" or "chop wood here" wouldnt you see thousands of other players mining and chopping at those places?

We never buy or craft boats, we buy or craft a limited usage licence for boats, like a rental, unfortunately... Is there any way to have an unlimited lifespan boat, even if it costs real money ??? I know is to be realistic (grind) but we could have a silver-paid boat repair service, like in real life, where boats last for decades
