+Michael Alexander No, you do not lose the enchant, niether do you lose the upgrade of a piece if you enchant it. However, it is usually seen as more cost effective to first upgrade a piece to +15 before enchanting it, as doing it the other way around means that you need to use other enchanted pieces, which are naturally more expensive, in order to repair the max durability of the item should you fail at upgrading it.

Yeah it's about 5, the cool looking stuff are outfits in the Pearl Shop. There is a way to buy the outfits with in game silver, but the supply of the outfits is extremely low. So you're either going to have to stare at the Marketplace for weeks on end. Or spam the chat for weeks on end, especially if it's a rare outfit.

3:00 is wrong, it says in the text armor+7 and weapon +5 when it should be reversed for when failing becomes possible. if you extract black stones from weapons +8 or higher or armors +6 or higher then you have guaranteed to get 7 on weapon or 5 on armor back but only a percentage which i dont know to get the rest of the stones above that number.

@grant poston it is smaller, but you cant teleport or fly in any way. Also, unlike wow, you are more likely to visit low level areas after reaching The soft cap. In wow only a small fraction is used by the players, most of it is dead. In bdo you are likely to see players anywhere even though the game had a smaller playerbase

Nice vid, I'd like to add two things: While the game says +5 armor is safe, I'd say +6 is too. Last night, I just threw 4 stones to all my armor pieces and got them all to +6 on first shot.Took 5 stones to get one to +7 though. :/ Perhaps I had good RNG, but it seems in this game, for NA anyways, getting to +6 is stupid easy. I've been having trouble getting fail stacks off of accessories because of it. D: Enhancements will pertain through upgrading quality of gear, but gems won't. If I'm correct that is. I'm pretty sure upgrading a weapon or armor will remove the socketed gems.

i check the comment below and i don't see anything sing of it, but the table for the forced enchant is fals, and for the extercation of black stone .. it's stone a 100% , you get back your (safe enchant part, 5 for armor and 7 for weap) after that it's totaly random, you get 1/2/ all your black stone you can have more, sometime with big luck

When I added the base item to my current enhanced item to recover durability, the durability stayed the same and the space on the durability bar simply got replace with grey. For example, the item is still at 90/100, the difference now is that instead of empty space behind the bar starting at the 90 the space is now grey. Is that what is suppose to happen when you "restore" 10 durability points? I was expecting to see the item say 100/100 again not 90/100 with this newly added grey. THX ! !

Also The latest patch in korea doubled The map. And yes, you can go anyehere anytime. Even the dungeons are open world

How many different armor sets (in case of looks) are there for each class? Most of the time I watch streams or videos, people are wearing the same armor all over the screen. Kind of adds a clone-touch together with the gender locked classes to the game. That ruins my individualisation need for me personaly :(

+Sam BelZeBuB Thoughtful response incoming, beware wall of text. Pretty much every set of gear has a different visual appearance. It's usually very minor changes, nothing revolutionary. But they do change. The costumes are where the drastic visual changes occur. And as far as I know there are pretty plain life skill costumes you can get in game that increase your XP or crafting/gathering rate with specific life skills. I've dumped way too much time into this game to not be sure of these, but I haven't purchased one off of the marketplace so I can't know if they're costumes for sure. That's what they're called though. Outside of the costumes and the visual appearances of the armor, there's a fairly large number of dyes in game that can be used to individualize your armor. To give it a more customized feeling. Sadly, all of the dyes are 1 time use, and the easiest way to obtain them is via the cash shop. What people seem to neglect, is that you can purchase dyes WITHOUT spending real life currency. Every day you log in, you get 100 of a loyalty currency. For 200 of this currency, you can buy 1 random dye box, rewarding you a new dye every other day. If that's what you choose to spend this currency on, as there are a plethora of interesting options.

Ok, Fevir I am confused, I want to buy the game within the next view days but I don't really understand this so please help me. "There are no restrictions on gear" Does that mean all dropped gear is more or less just a cosmetic skin and the "power" of the item comes solo from its + level? (except for the mentioned different TYPES of stats-"options" like health or stamina etc.) Also you mentioned this upgrading involves loosing permanently MAX item durability, what does that mean? That it will be unusable at some point? But there is a way of repairing by trading the exact same base item to the blacksmith. Does that mean If I found a rare weapon, a very rare one which I wont find again anytime soon that it will be extremely hard to upgrade such a top tier weapon for exactly this reason? Because you need it multiple times? Furthermore about the accessories, needing also multiple duplicates to upgrade, is this all about that grinding aspect of the game, just to find more and more of the same stuff? For me as a player gear customization is a huge deal. I like to find (and upgrade, and wear) awesome looking rare sets of armor etc. Is there even a big variety of items in the game? I'm talking about really awesome good looking NON-COSTUME gear. I hate nothing more than a boring looking character or an awesome looking character with a costume that nearly everybody on the server wears too. +Masta Prior It's a lot like Skyrim. A lot of more subtle types of armor.. where the strength comes from upgrading. It seems it's a system you wouldn't like because there isn't much over the top- incredible epic and unique types of armor. Durability acts like a gate... so if you are forcing upgrades.. you'd be forced to repair with duplicates or with the fragments in order to force more upgrades. The lack of appearance options is one of a lot of people's gripes with the game as even the options found in the cash shop are limited as well

There really needs to be a way to force enhancement of accessories and 15+ gear. Right now, especially with accessories, it's essentially impossible to fully upgrade gear. And don't give me that "failstacks" bullshit. At best you're only gonna be getting +10-15% bonus, and that's basically worthless when a single failure will leave you with no item at all.

+straynium I think this is one of the few games where AMD has a leg up if you are using that 8gb vram 390 cards which I am. I don't know if there is anything to it.. but the amount of popin I have is practically non-existant

+Fevir I switched from AMD to Nvidia a while ago because I was having problems in every other game. I still have it maybe I will try using it and seeing if it performs better. Thanks for the heads up.
