Black Desert Online Was My Game

Now with season servers catchups , a free PEN blackstar weapon , just recently a FREE T10 Myhtical horse , they also gave away a dream horse T9 some months ago , all the time alot of free stuff like crons / costumes / buffs etc. The ammount of stuff i got the last year for FREE is insane, i still kept an eye out on insane freebies and logged in to claim them. i don't play this game actively anymore like the old days but recently i came back for the new gunslinger class. I got full PEN Black star weps , full new fallen god armor Tri and decent TET/Pen acces (305-305 ap - 420 DP) which is semi - end game these days. You can make 1B an hour solo basicly everywhere almost in the 270 AP brackets in most spots these days, the high end endgame spots 2B+ /h. The only thing i'm not up to date yet or have not gotten yet are the new sovereighn weapons and the kharazad accesoires. but for me personally it's still the one MMO that does it ALL basicly and still holds up extremely well. I don't say you should no life this game because it's basicly a full stop repeat cycle, but play at your own pace and don't mind pvp TO much. Alot has changed and you can become via-able in alot of spots to grind very quickly these days that back in the day took years to get into. RNG is still a thing, but not as bad as it's used to be with new pity systems. Just enjoy it my man. I would even dare say it's not even P2W anymore, because the cost of spending vs results (rng) isn't worth the $ cost lol. To all the folks saying that after 4k hours he doesn't even have higher gear then season/tutorial, guys you clearly weren't there when the game launched lol. A yellow boss weapon to +15 was unheard of back then and considered PEN BS weapon these days (5-6 years ago). Even yellow boss armor pieces were super super hard to get back then. so yeah i'l believe it if your just logging back in just now.

4k playtime hours? So you barely finished the tutorial stage little bro. Now if that was 4k hours of pure grinding… that would have been full PEN boss gear back in 2017

Yesh, I stayed lvl 57 out of spite, this was when the soft cap was 59/60, still managed to beat lvl 62's tho at pirates xD

@ miss those times where just getting +0 boss gear was an achievement. I used to be half tet/pen 58 valk in 2017. I was able to consistently 1vs5 most pirate groups. Felt like dark souls boss

i dont exactly know when you started playing but looking at your gear, you didnt get very far if you consider getting all of that right after season, which is a catchup mechanic that came out in 2020

I started when the game released in late 2014, the soft cap was 50 and hardcap was 56, no awakening, boss armor was a myth and you lost xp if any played killed you regardless of karma xD

Oh I played very actively, but the capotia stuff was just given to me, and when it comes to continuing to play.... hmm, I mean I cant go hard now anyways, so imma chill and see what a casual player can do. THE Casuals of casuals

Fame? Not sure if that was a thing when I played, but of what I can see it has alot to do with how many high level characters you have, and I cant really play anything other than Warrior :(

your gear is like the 2018 "softcap" cap of tet armor and weapons and tri accessories. purely based off your camera angle im gunna say your are far from a pvp player

OH YEAH!! The camera angles, completely forgot about that xD Almost all my current gear was free, back in the day I rolled full TRI Grunil armor and non boss weapons xD Got a TRI ogre ring tho, that was swag of swag in the olden days

@@arajnin dont worry i remember those days, im over 20k hours but stopped playing like 2 years ago or so. i remember running full grunil and getting them ultimate with a worker workshop to makes the reform stones and whatnot.... those were good days. now its a mess and nothing happens

I find the game never respected my time. Progression for me has been at near stand still for a long time. But it's pretty and I like making hot characters so I come back now and again for the new characters.

Same, I never afk'ed, and I refused to take part of the daily logins, I got alot, but I hated that you "had" to login everyday or you would miss out. My nephew even made me log in for him daily just for the rewards while he was in vacation.... But if you take it as a casual game it can be fun, and it is, just dont need to be the best xD

still a good game. Efficiently playing you can beat it in around 2k hours, which is below average for most real mmorpgs that have lived the tale of time. (Wow, runescape etC) bdo is still very good, gear progression is still very good. More lazy players coming in is still very bad. The only thing you need to not p2w bdo is collection scrolls. You can maintain them with effort. The game is still VERY much f2p. even pets, value packs everything are still buyable on CM. Only thing you really need to input is the weight packages.
