Put these on before I did raw-hyde last year.. amazing sturdy craftsmanship. Thanks for the nice video as usual.

Bought a new R1250 GSA and stripped all the NON-OEM Farkles off my bike, these BDCW pegs being one of them. For the LIFE of me I struggled to put these in "Until" you showed the pin that I never used, LOL.. Thanks for the tip and the reminder of the pin and how the springs went on.. ** sigh **. 30 mins turned into 30 seconds..

And these are the pegs with a built-in bottle opener? What's not to love?! Added to the farkle list.

RJAMT here. I like the video and agree that the pegs are works of art. I like the greater size for foot re-positioning and it does seem they would give better weight traction and shift control. I've had my foot slip off a few times once I hit muddy conditions. The reason why I haven't bought them yet for my own GSA is that I'm worried the extra length might cause me problems when dabbing/waddling through mud, etc. They sure do stick out a lot farther than the stock ones. I'd appreciate it if you could let us know whether you experience any issues from the greater size once you get to try them. Thanks.

Absolutely! This and cornering scraping is a concern of mine as well. Last year, around May I posted a "farkle video" summarizing how everything is performing so far on my old bike following 2500 miles of riding, 500 or so being off road with mud and such and how it all was holding up. Good idea! I'll try to do that Bike is stored away for the Winter now. Just Farkles, no reviews.

Just viewed your video; thanks, and these will no doubt be amongst my next purchases for my GSA...

Did you notice any reduction in lean angle when taking fast corners on pavement?
@AdamChandler862 жыл бұрын
On these, no. There is a foot peg from IMS Products called the ADV2 that is MASSIVE and I have heard people having issues with lean angle on those. These have been flawless.

I have a GS with the standard round, rubber topped pegs but am interested in all alloy pegs. Do you do much highway/street riding and do you find alloy pegs such as these transmit too much vibration?
@AdamChandler865 жыл бұрын
I won't be riding the bike until Spring so I can't really say but I'll let you know.

What kind of crashbars do you have? As i can see, the top part is the factory supplied one, but the bottom is certainly not.
@AdamChandler865 жыл бұрын
Bottom is factory OEM GSA Crash bars!

Do you know if you can get rubber inserts for these BDCW footpegs
@AdamChandler864 жыл бұрын
Hi. No rubber inserts available but these are footpads worth putting on your buy list if you do any off-road riding. I haven't had issues with discomfort on long highway days.
