Oh well. I have sold development in the Caribbean. 20+ years in real estate. You better be wealthy before stepping foot to live in the Cayman Islands and Turks & Caicos, even black British citizens have a hard time adapting. Retire there better be comfortable! I know because I spent more than a month in each country. Born in the Caribbean and been visiting both islands for more than a decade. Barbados and St. Barts would be practical for Blacks to adapt and enjoy more, variation of the standard of living. Non- prejudice with the locals/natives supports and wellness

We need an updated list with more options for the expats. What happened to Guadeloupe, St. Maarten, Haiti, etc? Also, as someone who was born and raised in the Caribbean (St. Croix being one of them), St. Croix is now expensive to live due to all the westerners moving there and have driven up the cost significantly as well as bringing their bad ways with them, such as r@cism and prejudice. Many things have to be exported, which is costly! I still love it and visit frequently but people need the truth. St. John and St. Thomas is no different with the westerners either and cost. If anyone wants to move there, manage your retirement funds and plan wisely.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines 🇻🇨, perfect location in southern Caribbean. We neighbors to St. Lucia to north, Barbados to east, Grenada and Trinidad to south.

Thank you so much, Black Excellence you are getting better and better. I feel that black people have to start investing, relocating and divesting their options into black countries to be able to live happily. Majority of these black countries are livable and peaceful, time to start living and stop living in the past.

Excellent video and informative however out of all of them which one has the “best” medical facilities? That is one thing that is important to retirees.

This list IS NOT built for the "average" retirement. Turks and Caicos, Grand Cayman, Aruba and Anguilla are some of the most expensive islands in the Caribbean. Barbados, Grenada, Curacao should be on this list.

My thoughts exactly. T & C is so pricey and Caymans yikes.

I've been to many of the islands in the Caribbean and to nations that border the Caribbean (Costa Rica, Panama, Belize, Mexico and Colombia). If I could, I would live on the island of Grenada.

How was Belize
@akken21123 жыл бұрын
@@queenofsheba357 Most of the nations that are in the Caribbean and that border it are very similar (music, food, climate, topography, language, African influence). I would say that Belize is different in that the demographics have changed over the last few decades because of the immigration from Guatemala and it seemed to have a higher percentage of very poor people.

I went to University in Canada with someone born in Grenada. Her family left there years ago when she was young. Her parents were older and she was by far the youngest, of 5 kids. They said it was unsafe and politically unstable. Is this true now?

Thank you so much for this video , I have gone to two of the island on your list Bahamas good service, It was 8 of us that went to Dominican Republic and the service was so poor , our room had mold and they did not change it , also we were standing at the bar waiting to be served and the bartender pointed to the white couple behind us and take there order . We experience this in all the areas during our entire stay . We would never go back again ): it reminded us of Jamaica the worst Caribbean island for black tourist
