It's because Black people started out so behind the 8 ball in this country that it is a celebration to see after generations we become millionaires and billionaires. With slavery, Jim crow, n o voting rights, red lining, segregation (separate but equal was a joke), housing discrimination, legal injustice, public lynchings, job discrimination, you know just overall being treated like shit since we set foot on this land, it's nice to see us rise above it. Trust me, there is a thing such as generational trauma-and I can't think of anyone with more traumatic history than Native Americans and African Americans.
