You're only as good as the decisions you make today with the money you have. As a single mom, this time last year I considered getting into the stock market without much knowledge and decided to have a consultation with a fiduciary, and it was incredibly insightful. For example, what specific strategies did she employ with TSLA & other stocks to grow her multi-million $ account? Was she primarily a long-term investor and/or was she a swing or day trader too? Did she trade options on stocks or just stocks? HOw does one reach her to learn more about her stock investing courses? Sooo many un-answered questions.

Putting your money into the stock market to work for you is not a bad idea. But I would only use low cost index funds. They track the broader stock market and if you reinvest the dividends you are pretty much guaranteed to beat the market every year (whether it goes up or down). Over time the law of compound returns makes this the best way to invest. It also gives you instant diversification and shields you from many of the risks involved in stock picking. HOWEVER, one should never put money in the stock market you might need in the near to intermediate future. That kind of money should be in cash or high quality bonds.

With all the news making the headlines, I believe this really a good time to buy stocks or am I wrong? I know everyone says the market is booming enough to buy but will stocks tank further this year? How long until a full stock recovery? How are other people in this mrkt raking in over $250k gains within months, I'm really just confused at this point.
@AugustoRosario228 ай бұрын
I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing, crypto and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $160k in passive diversified safe-haven assets, Up $480k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

That's impressive! I could really use the expertise of these advisors, my portfolio has been down bad.... Who’s the person guiding you?

Get an index fund if you're too hesitant to buy stocks. Or you could do both. They both have there advantages but if you want to be more on the safe side and conservative then a low cost index fund or etf is the way to go. Growing your money is all about consistency and discipline. You gotta save and invest consistently every month to see results. There's never a wrong or right time to invest. They key thing is to buy low and sell high or at least buy low and save the dividends asap. The market is like a roller coaster. It goes up and down over the years just like in life. If you're not willing to keep a stock for at least 5 to 10 years then you probably shouldn't be buying them in the first place. There is no fast way to build wealth unfortunately so patience, time and a little luck in picking the right companies is ideal. Some companies are way better than others while others can be more volatile going up and down. Some companies slash there dividends while others initiate stock splits. It's all about doing your research and reading tons of articles on money and investing. When you attain more experience owning stocks then it gets a little easier for you to decide whether you should buy a particular company or not but tbh it's best to just own maybe 100 shares of each company that has a track record of performing well just to have a diverse portfolio of stocks and be more on the safe side. Not everyone can pick stocks like Warren Buffett or other investing experts so it's best to either have an index fund or lots of high quality stocks in your portfolio in different sectors so you won't take on the risk of losing lots of money. I've found that the main reason to buy stocks is to save the dividends and the main reason to invest is to save. It took me a while to realize this because I was ignorant at first but truly there really is no other reason. The more money you have saved early on the better off you will be long term. When the shares you own go up and you reach a huge gain then it may be best to sell and save that money. When you earn $50 in dividends it would be best to save that money every 3 months the company pays it out. The main goal is to just save as often as possible to increase your networth. You want to collect as much money in the market as you can and investing helps you do this. It's pretty hard to do this without investing in stocks or an index fund plus you can only save so much money with your job income without investing. People who do well with there money have a disciplined mindset. They save and invest every month of there life no matter what. They save as much money as possible on a monthly basis and invest every month. They make sure to pay themselves first. You should be saving and investing just as often as you pay your rent, buy food, pay your netflix and gym membership, drive your car to the store, etc. It should just be mandatory not every now and then. Once you fix your mindset about money you will understand how to be better with it. It's all about time in the market and how much money you are consistently saving when you get a job. When you do both of these together you will be way better off than most people who always complain about money problems.

Rate cuts commence in June 2024, taking 6-8 months to complete. A potential crash, if any, might occur by March 2025. The soft landing narrative is gaining traction, making this big recession everyone is calling for less likely. With $1 million from a business sale, I'm seeking profitable investment opportunities for the next 3 years.

The financial market is a reliable choice. Diversify your portfolio with I-bonds, stocks (ETFs, REITs, dividend-paying stocks), and bitcoin. Given your budget, I recommend hiring a fiduciary to ensure you receive professional insights for a fee.
@JacquelinePerrira8 ай бұрын
The market is not necessarily a rollercoaster if you know your way around the market, there are various opportunities in the present market to accrue good profit, If you are not too savvy with the market, just buy and hold on strong companies with good earnings, or consult with advisors on ETFs and actively managed funds.

How many of our Carribean parents had to start over from scratch. My 🇭🇹 father, too, was a cab driver/owner and was decimated by Uber/Lyft. He's since now transitioned to trucking.

Fascinating story! Fascinating women, too. I could probably listen to their voices all day. Re cabs versus Uber, something similar happened earlier when a thing called supermarket was invented. It undercut my dad's business; he was a milkman and grocer, who delivered only, the way people did in those days. Some of his colleagues were still able to sell their business, but my dad may have waited too long and had to quit, then take a job. Am not well today and am bingeing on KZbin and sleeping. I did a lot of work on Saturday and Sunday, so it's okay.

Buy a good cross section of an economy, Build a diverse portfolio that keeps you motivated,Speed up the process where possible:i'm all for dividends and i DRIP into etfs (ARKW, VOO, VXUS, IVV) and company stocks. After my first million I realized that when a stock starts booming chances of you finding out means you are quite late to the party, for this I make sure my CFA handles that, ever grateful to Anna Rounds Fay.it's like turning your notifications to earn more millions.

I personally dont believe she made what she claims and the way she talks seems not genuine for anyone who knows what is investing. She always give round numbers when she explaining, 10k 2million 1000% Return. Cmon she lying af, probably had a fund somewhere from someone and now she claiming this bs so she can sell courses and scam more people. another kyiosaki ....

I’m not a black woman (I’m Mexican/hispanic), but I idolize many black women and follow so many of them on KZbin for their podcasts, life style advice and fashion and beauty advice. I feel they are so bold, intelligent and just downright earn their self respect. I did not have a positive female role model growing up (if anything, it was quite the opposite in my family dynamic), not up until my 30s because there are so many incredible women on KZbin now. Having male role models destroyed my confidence as a woman…representation IS a thing and it’s magnanimously important. She is inspiring to listen to, and I hope many young females shift their focus to these types of conversations (as I’m sure she is getting that ball rolling now more than ever).
