I can tell you that this is very prevalent in the fire service. I had a certain battalion chief try three times to get me fired, but it never worked. I kept my nose clean, and my work was impeccable. I also kept detailed documentation as well as a work journal. To any young black professionals in the workforce, I suggest you do the same. It will help you in the long run. As an OG, I can see the writing on the wall. Those folks are threatened by our presence. They don't want to see us in the workforce, let alone holding positions of authority. Their mission is to whitewash the workforce. They are fine with us working at McDonald's or being a janitor. I have been trying to tell young folks for years, but they thought everything was good. Now they are getting a wake-up call. Have your lawyers ready during these next four years.

Just last year two white firefighters gave an all clear for a house fire. A black firefighter listened to the mother whose children were in the house he went in and found the children who later died from smoke inhalation. Nothing was done to the racist firefighters who looked at those children and left them to perish.

That’s what wyt people do and I know this is true because this also happened to a Black Battalion Chief on Arizona. Fireman worked very hard for many years and was promoted after his promotion the Wyt firefighters gave him hell even the administration. He eventually retired but paid a heavy price for being honest, committed and loyal. I can only imagine what this firefighter went through being in Utah that Mormon State.
