Gruv had a 2 for $24 sale few days ago. but they have removed that and i missed it. 2001 a space odyssey and shawshank back to normal price now. hopefully it will come back next week.

Absolutely! Eat Thanksgiving dinner, grabthe ads, and figure out what to go and get. Arrive late at night and wait in line. I never experienced the crazy chaotic fights or arguments.

Facts! the lack of instore media has really diminished some of my passion to collect and make content. One walmart near me has media but it's never out on time and the other one doesn't get many 4ks and no steelbooks at all

I also heard people saying that amazon has cleared out their saved for later sections and carts where they have titles stored ready to see if the price has changed and. I've heard of this happening prior also. I would say have your list or thoughts of what you really want and how much you want to pay, don't get caught up in the "oh I'll just grab this at that price" while not really wanting it and then it just sits on the shelf forever untouched. happy collecting everyone, next week should be fun.

I pre-ordered The Terminator steelbook got that in from Gruv already. Godzilla Minus One doesn't come with a slipcover so I'm going to wait for a drop in price. Like you I have a list. Price will determine what I pick up. Hope there are some good Black Friday deals!

Yeah I was going to go ahead and get terminator but once I thought about it I said I'll gamble and see what next week brings. You can't watch all these e releases at the same time so need to rush to grab them all day 1 but to each there own.

@ You know who almost never has sales is Scream Factory. There are several titles from them I would like to pickup. Criterion has sales, Kino, even Arrow has sales. Scream Factory play to much!

Absolutely! Nothing like eating Thanksgiving dinner, looking at the ads, and planning it all out. Get to Walmart late at night and wait, then off to the races. I have never seen anything bad happen, just people rushing to grab stuff but never overly chaotic.

shipping aint free at walmart so the prices go up amazon has better 4k deals anf free fast shipping for prime members

Yeah, gotta spend $35 or be a + member at walmart for the free shipping. I typically just add my grocery items to the order if I'm only interested in one title to get the free shipping.

Any intelligent person who likes movies still collect physical media unless you like streaming poor quality movies. I guarantee you nobody will ever offer you over a hundred dollars for a digital copy of a movie. I could easily sell my collection for over $20,000. It's like asking someone who collects antiques why they collect them, it's because it's an investment and also something they love. I'd rather spend money on something I love that will last a lifetime than on alcohol, eating out or traveling because that's money spent that you have nothing to show for after. It's all a matter of opinion, I ask myself why do people spend $50,000 on a car when they could travel around in one for $8,000- $10,000 but people do it all the time.
