I just purchased the Sungold power 5,000w 48v all-in-one inverter/charger/charge controller earlier today for $721. I have been wanting to get this $850 unit for quite some time and finally bit the bullet. I purchased 8 of their 550-watt panels to go on the roof of my motorhome earlier this month (also on sale) and this unit is the exact model I was looking for to complete this system. Another advantage of buying from them, other than the free freight, is the lack of sales tax collection. I'm a FT RVer and my domicile state, Louisiana requires, companies over a certain size to charge sales tax even though the item won't be purchased, shipped to, nor used in Louisiana - as is the case with this purchase. Buying from a smaller company like this saves me another 9.5% vs buying from a larger vendor like Amazon who is forced to collect this inappropriate tax.

Why are you giving up on your LV6548’s inverters? Fan noise, flickering LED lights, high frequency instead of low frequency inverter? We miss your video input! This spring I’m not totally replacing my SP6548, but just using the charge controller function, my AC out put will be on two Outback Radian GS8048 Hybrid inverters. I hoping this will totally replace grid usage.

At least in the case of Amazon if you have their credit card it's 6% back with no rush shipping, which is a big win if the seller of the battery has the exact same price on their site!

@@LithiumSolar If you do get one, there’s only one thing to look out for. Their card issuer, Synchrony Bank, is really shady. They sneak in a monthly “Card Security” fee which auto charges you 2% or 3% of your monthly spend. This can be turned off but years ago when I applied and got the card I almost cancelled it entirely after finding out it was on my statements for 3 months. I’ve never seen it come back, not sure if they still do it. I’ve made a lot of $$$ off Amazon purchases.

The Sungold one seems to be offering free shipping on their rackmount battery - that's a good $300+ savings considering how expensive freight with liftgate seems to be.

They shipped mine through standard ground transport (was either UPS or FedEx, can't remember) but it was not freight. That's why I noted in the comparison video that it was "questionable".

@@LithiumSolar Ahh, ok, I didn't realize they could actually ship rackmount batteries via UPS/Fedex - wonder if they're fudging on the weight when handing it over, or if it's just the other sellers could do it too and just choose not to trust UPS/Fedex.

@@ualdayan The max weight for ground is 150lbs, so it fits within that being around 110lbs with packaging. The problem is, from what I understand, that batteries over a certain capacity threshold are required to be shipped freight per regulations. I cannot recall whether or not my box actually had the lithium stickers on it but I don't think it did.

Buying on Amazon has a 10% redeem on the 12v battery sales vs the actual vendor..... Redodo seems to be cheaper of the li time and power queen.

Looks like that's a one-time use offer and it's not available to me because I had used it on Nov 7. At that time, the battery was $222 with their coupon/promotion. If you buy it now with the coupon, it's $216 - so I suppose that is still a bit cheaper ;)

I am new to solar I am trying to learn and watch all your videos and KZbin research. First off congrats you are a genius I saw the solar generator video that’s a lot of work and skill but my goal is it possible to run a machine that consumes 3500w but 7000w for 2 machines for example and power it 7 days a week 24/7 with a solar setup should it be on grid or off grid for this and I also was looking into biofuel for generator clean energy but with solar or something to make a sort of energy cycle. For 1 machine 84kw per day

The thing that bothers me about some companies, especially chinese companies is they have sales and sell stuff even if its out of stock. Took 39 days to get inverter, 2 batteries and 8 panels and then 18 days to get two more batteries in another order

Are you sure you're right? $1259 is the lowest 48v battery rack signature solar I've ever seen.

No :) Well, kindof? I'm not sure when the price changed, but it was $1259 when I filmed the rack comparison video on Nov 15. The next date back I can reference is Aug 10 and it was $1369 at that time. So somewhere between there it dropped but I don't believe it was reduced specifically for Black Friday, unless they just set their holiday pricing early.
