Lightwave is definitely on the rise again! Besides Blender being free Lightwave is the most affordable all in one 3D application and it's not a subscription. You buy it you own it!

I remember reading that the Burnout 3 devs had their game running in the Lightwave editor, since you could write custom plugins in C. Then they just exported the game to the Renderware engine.

On Fanatical, The Complete Godot: Developer's Playbook appears to be sloppily AI-generated and it is from Mammoth Interactive. At first everything seems fine but as you progress further, image examples starts to clearly look AI-generated and does not even make sense. DO NOT BUY. For me, no matter how much Mammoth Interactive earnestly improves now, it has burned that bridge for me. Waste of money.

The gun and alarm sounds sounds are the drawing aspects for me, but it's really surprising how little non-audio asset bundles there are nowadays on HB etc. Edit: the gun sfx is subpar, avoided thisnapck thankfully.

@@IWillYeah , I'm working on an Old West game and I'm unsure if the bundle contains much useful content for the project... but it is only $20. Audio is NOT my strong suit, and all of my ideas for the game are pretty specific (not likely part of any bundle). So, guess I need to see who else wants my Black Friday Money before I decide. EDIT: I pulled the trigger.

@RarendipityGames nor mine. didn't get it, probably won't as there's been almost exclusively Music bundles far awhile now (which ive had my fill of months ago), but those two aspects were the only things really drawing me. Honesty, after reviewing elsewhere, FAB/ Unity store has far better and larger selection of sfx. Black Friday has been disappointing for game devs, sadly.

they have changed it so you can't give less than 30% of the money to HB, that's pretty insane, most of their assets are not even hosted on the site, and they're just a light store front compared to something like Steam.

That's kind of impossible to answer, like saying 'what's some good code to put in my game?' since it totally depends on what you want to make. Like I think the Cozy Life template is awesome, but it's pretty unlikely that you want to make an Animal Crossing kind of game. but anyway, get ultra dynamic sky. everyone loves ultra dynamic sky.

AFAIK, Humble, Steam, etc. shows the local currency with no easy way of changing it. VPN could work, but some sites block VPN users.
