Even at home, I'm rarely running my induction cooktop over 1000w on a single burner. I'm normally under 800w. Different story when I'm using +2 burners
@enigmascapeАй бұрын
True, I think 600w is more the norm for me, but it's also not the only load usually. If you are building a system, it should be designed to handle as close to, or preferably over, the max load possible by the items connected to it. Just like a circuit in your house, you don't want to be 'blowing' things when 1 too many things get plugged in or you need to sear a steak for a little longer than you normally do, especially if the battery is at a low state of charge... With an inverter/battery setup it's a bit different than grid power because the more the battery gets depleted and the volts start dropping, the amps go up to continue producing the watts, and that's especially where the 150a bms can save the day. Even only 1000w at 12v (when the battery gets down there to 12v) is 120a, which would exceed the rating of most 100ah batteries which typically only have a 100a bms.

I just want someone to tell me what I need to bake a pizza in a pizzas pizza oven.
@enigmascapeАй бұрын
@@donttrickimtricky.8567 That pizza oven uses 1500w. So, one of these batteries and a 2000w inverter would run that pizza cooker for about an hour when fully charged.
@donttrickimtricky.8567Ай бұрын
@@enigmascape I think I'm going to do that. I changed my mind like 10 times today. Almost went with bluetti ac70 with a smaller personal pizza cooker that pulls 700 watts. Way smaller capacity. So it might not even stay on long enough to bake a pizza. Thank you.

Yea, power stations are really nice, but to get one with enough capacity to run an oven of any type it takes a pretty big power station. I have an Allpowers R1500 and made hotwings in a 1500w air fryer and it used something like 75-80% of the capacity to do it. It has an 1152 wh capacity but you only get around 85% effeciency as well, so really more like 980wh usable and costs $500. This battery has 1792wh capacity. By the time you buy an inverter and a charger it will probably be around the same price but you will have an expandable system and nearly double the capacity, but wont look as fancy :)

I like the added 40ah. More power is always a plus.
@enigmascapeАй бұрын
Yea, 40% more capacity and the 150a BMS make this one a pretty interesting battery. Thanks for the comment!
@GBearАй бұрын
@enigmascape I suspect it is still rated 4S4P.
@enigmascapeАй бұрын
@@GBear Yea, I didn't even think to mention that cuz think they pretty much all are, but I looked it up to make sure and yea, 4S4P

@enigmascape Cool, thanks. Off grid, we need good power.

Another nice video! I saw another video explain how it’s pronounced. The words in red are pronounced. The letters in blue and green are just said. So it’s pronounced “red - O - D - O.” Very weird in my opinion, but at least that explains how to get how it’s pronounced.
@enigmascapeАй бұрын
Ahhhh, well that at least makes sense of how they arrived at that pronunciation. Maybe I will ask my rep and see if I can confirm that's the way it's pronounced. Thanks for the feedback on that cuz I've been wondering why a lot of people seem to say it that way lately.
