Repitch versus Melodyne? Opinions? Not familiar with Repitch but Melodyne is the "gold standard" for many.

So good.

Thanks Mike, as usual very good video and as always, the explanations that come with. Look very good for quicker operations than Melodyne, but as I'm not a signer (everyone would run away lol), I guess I will not add it besides my Melodyne.

Hi Mike, welcome back from Bali, which I hope was, on as many levels as possible, 'restorative'. Sorry to pick up on a slightly older post, but I was inspired by this post to purchase VocAlign. The timing was perfect, no pun intended, as I had literally just finished engineering for a piece with two vocalists producing melody and harmony tracks - so what's a poor bloke (poorer now!) To do when the stars align like that, well that's what I told myself. So hurry up Tim, are you ever going to ask a question! What do you think, as a headline, does VocAlign deliver that Cakewalk's own vocal align doesn't. I also discovered, if I'm right, that you can only have one ARA region effect at a time. This is a problem as I really could do with applying Melodyne corrections AND VocAlign to the same selection. Is there a workflow, perhaps, freezing, duplicating track etc that you can think would work to achieve that. I've tried myself, before just asking you. Also, I must say...your worth in this space is enormous on so many levels, lifting us up in making yourself, as some would see it, vulnerable. There are no words to easily express that, but a few tears from me said a lot. THANK YOU.

Hi Mike, As always a very good tutorial! I checked the link and was disappointed that you didn’t mention the fact that to run the plugin you have to have a license for ILok. My questions: 1. Does it mean that the iLok license increase the cost of the plugin? 2. How does the ilok connection influence CPU performance of the plugin. I’m not running a top of the line computer system. 3. Many people mention all kind of problems with iLok. What are your experiences? Thanks in advance

Thanks Mike! However I already have melodyne with S1 and even on sale the other plugin is just too expensive. Great review though!

Nice - alittle costly anyways for me who mainly does intrumental music. 🙂

How do I get these plug-ins for logic Pro also you're an amazing singer and I would love to write songs with you. I'm a singer trying to break into the music industry and I'm looking for other people to collaborate with.?

Melodyne and VariAudio make possible to see the reference MIDI track when editing, does RePitch give this opportunity? Thanks

I Live The how it gets the vocals tight. The Pitch thing is ok not my fav. If I pick this up it will be for the VocAlign.

Is it possible to align melodic guitar riffs with this tool?
@KevinPare11 ай бұрын
Yes. I've used Vocalign on instruments many times and they've always come out perfectly.

Do these things do anything that Melodyne doesn't do?

And I think Melodyne is cheaper than this bundle on Black Friday.

Maybe just work with a real singers instead of making someone sound like a singer. 😉

You can adjust timing in Melodyne but it’s not an automated process. You have to go to each “blob” to adjust.

My mind -- "vibrato" .. oh noooo

Too expensive for a one man band so I'll just continue manually adjusting.
