My section sgt was there. He's one of the runners at the Mile. We were at NTC, I hit a little berm too hard. Slung my gunner into the gun, then the kidney pads. He collapsed, SSG started freaking out. Yelling on the radio about skinnies all around us, needing a way out. Then the medevac Blackhawk landed and Top got there in time to grab him and bring him back. I was green as green and didn't know history. Think bout him every time I hear it.
