This evening we'll be discussing the role and significance the Midnight Sun plays in the esoteric journey of psychanodia across a number of ancient traditions including Mesopotamian, Mithraic, and alchemical. We'll also be discussing Jung's seminar on the Solar Cults and Opicinus de Canistris and how such works relate to the problem of the Shadow.

I believe that the Midnight Sun is one of the most impressive symbols brought to us by the Indo-European peoples in their collective mythos. The depth to its meaning inspires strength and invokes divinity. Veils upon veils of meaning. Enjoyed the video as always.

I've actually had a dream of this sun, midnight sun, a year ago. It was profound but I had no clue what it meant. I am someone who delves into alchemy and especially jungian psychology. Couldn't be sure what it meant exactly. I thought a sort of joining of the conscious and unconscious.

Very reminiscent of arafel, the idea that God and his light are shrouded in a dark cloud. “The Lord has said he will dwell in arafel (thick darkness)” (1 Kings 8:12); "clouds and thick darkness (arafel) surround him (Psalm 97:2). According to The Cloud of Unknowing, we might glimpse the nature of God once we surrender to our state of unknowing.

It is precisely for this reason that I bristle against the comfortable logical inference that darkness is simply the absence of light. We know as much about Light as we do about the luminous Darkness. In fact, Absolute Light is Darkness.

@@abbasalchemist⁠I agree. Since the One transcends both Light and Darkness, we should look at darkness not as the absence of light but as a profound, mysterious presence. The divine light is so pure and absolute that it appears dark to our limited perception. It transcends our perceptual and intellectual grasp. Thus, it is said to be contained within an impenetrable shell of darkness, such as when Sophia surrounds Yaldabaoth in a cloud. When the prisoner escaped Plato’s cave, the light of the sun blinded him. Just as the retinal cells can be overexposed to light and need time to regenerate, I have pondered whether we need time to heal when we become zealous with our desire for divine light. In any event, it is within the darkness of matter, the darkness of ignorance, the darkness of our physical bodies, the darkness of what-have-you, that we find the scintillae. It is in the liberation of these sparks that we find the essence of the Luciferian rebellion. Light seeks to be liberated. But one must ponder how we are to liberate the light when we can only perceive it according to the capacities of our soul. I apologize for the rather long post.

wow !!! incredible video ! been having signs of this for a while. either someone in public has a shirt or song lyrics are talking about this subject. with not a lot of information on the subject when I go to read online or find a video. One morning I woke up, drank some water and closed my eyes to go back to sleep and that's what I seen the size of a m&m it moved around then stopped. @@Gnarmoshthrash I'm realizing life is much stranger than fiction. I kept seeing that symbol when I closed my eyes for a long time and literally started to associate it with God and rest of the mind. When I would focus on it I would pretty much have no thought. This is going to sound strange but I am no liar, it started happening when I started seeing lights glow in the sky that seemed like moving stars in response to thoughts I had. This all happened after my son died and I had a stroke months later Xmass eve 2019... It's been a strange 5 years. I instinctually knew you were talking about that symbol but I can't explain how or why. I just know that it was a very personal and unexplainable experience for me. But your comment made me feel less crazy🤣
