I have the Black Ice Foz expander. It's great. I'd love to hear their CD/DAC and Phono pre. Also, if you're going to interview people, mic them up! The audio was very uneven,

Sometimes at a show, practical necessity requires a bit of compromise. Hopefully you found the interview audio intelligible, even if the levels are not even. Your feedback is appreciated.

I have owned a couple of their products and really enjoyed them - horrible company name though. same with border patrol 🙄.

I hear all the talk about "Sound Stage" and can imagine a sound stage when a band is playing on a stage making music. You know, instrument placement around the three dimensional space that is the "stage" , microphones for singers, etc. But when you have music like in this video at 5:30 and later, it is all synth coming out of someone's laptop audio output jack, or push button Maschine disco box. There really is ZERO soundstage because all the sound is originating from a single source point or jack on a piece of electronic equipment... eg, the laptop or synth unit. Just think it is worth mentioning.

Although electronic, each of those tracks has a sophisticated mix with expansive soundstage and imaging. Coil in particular is an interesting mix and a lot of those instruments are real and the album was released in 1991. Sounds From The Ground "Blaze Mountain" Coil "Love's Secret Domain" The Orb "The End of the End"

Ahh…the “experts.” Every video’s comment section has one and they’ve “ZERO” hesitation sharing their vast knowledge on all things.
