Wow. You can tell at the end he might've been slightly mad at himself for getting to frustrated to finish the poem. But that just shows how much passion he puts into his work and how much he means what he says.

man speaks the truth at its truest using rhymes to sooth all of his viewers while thugs write their music and use it for fame but this guy proves that integrity remains and cleverly shows that people want change for the better, as long as you render an entertaining letter so write to unite make people feel light as a feather and alleviate the tension by lightening the pressure.

he's got a lot of talent. If america was open to poetry and not rap he could be recognized mainstream. And if only society was sophisticated enough to understand his words not his flow.

"temporary monetary gain in exchange for eternal pain" this poem is deep. it is very sad what has happened to our black men. alot of them dont know how to be fathers or husbands. this poem is addressing the misdirection of our black men and the devastation that their absence or sometimes their poor presence has on their children. we as black people need to know that we are capable of high acheivement. we are capable of having successful families? why most of us dont know this is beyond me.

Reminds me of Jay-Z's "Beach Chair" when Jay referred to a man's offspring payin for the sins of the father. "Get back, sit back and rediscover how to be a honest father/ loyal lover/ righteous brother/ and not just anotha mothaf_____..." One of the illest poets to pick up a pen.

Shoot they better listen! I would stick a whole school of young brothers in a room with him! Cuz they need to be set straight on the real! Females too! But being that this passage is basically referring to brothers I'll just leave it at that. GO HEAD BLACK ICE! Keep it up! You're awesome!
@memoir0216 жыл бұрын
But you know what's really sad?? We hear this wonderful powerful stuff, but we do nothing about it. He's not just speaking it to get applause people! We need to start healing (or at least start trying)! Cuz if we do nothing, we're just as bad as the troubled brothers he's talking about! I need to get him to speak to alot of guys that I know...
