Awwwwwwwsome interview. The both of you kept my attention from the beginning until the end. I'm an African American single man with no children, looking to find my esposa in Colombia to form a family, but didn't know where to look. I've watched other KZbinrs channels & they haven't nearly given me as much information in comparison to this interview. Ms. Dee is a wealth of information, & Tiffany asked every question that came to my mind. Great job ladies. I'll definitely be watching in the future.

Thank you so much for watching! I appreciate the positive feedback, this a great compliment to receive :-) Curious to know why you have chosen to find love in Colombia? I hope that one day you will be able to find your wife, if that is your desire to do so. I hoping that we can get Dee on the channel to actually about dating specifically, so be on the look out.

@@whereintheheardistiffany I am a very accomplished young man. Not as wealthy as I planned to be yet,, but I've accomplished alot in my time. When I owned 2 convenient stores, women practically threw themselves at me. I rejected their advances since I knew they were mostly interested in me because I was the owner of the store. Since then, I've obtained my residential builders license here in Michigan, sold both my stores, & now I build luxury homes for a living. & from a birds eye view, I've noticed how women choose men based on what their friends or family will think. Alot of our women are more interested in impressing their friends and family with a trending type of man, instead of choosing a quality man. My 2008 Lincoln Navigator is paid for but its old now, & I dont drive it ever. But when it was new, I could lose count on how many women threw themselves at me. Now my financial situation has grown, & my house has also gotten bigger, but my choice in my career & the cars I drive attracts less women. Since I've had the flashy things already & have gotten that out of my system, Ive matured in certain ways. I'm the same guy, but women in my area are looking for something trending. & I dont seem to be it 😄. & the women I do attract have tatoos everywhere, live their entire life on social media, or their doing something else thats different from the traditional type of woman I'm accustomed to. Be a lady in the street, & you know the rest ❤. I dont mind a woman that likes to drink, have fun, laugh, go out & enjoy life, but I still want to see those old school values that our parents & grandparents instilled in us, because we depend on those old school values to use as a template when raising our children. & I dont see those values in the women I've come to meet recently. So my plan was to travel outside the country, broaden my horizons and experience new cultures I thought about Brazil but they mostly speak Portuguese. So I chose Colombia because they also have a large Afo population & they speak Spanish. I know "some" Spanish, but I'm learning more as we speak. I'm not a boring man. The women in my past will vouch for that. Any woman will be well entertained when in my company. Yet, having fun isn't everything. I still need to see that home training, and old school values. So if I can't find it here, I'll search elsewhere. Thats why I chose Colombia.

Wow. I had no idea there was such a large black community there. I had a coworker who was from Columbia but she didn’t consider herself black though she looked light skinned. Another one of her peers who was a darker male would come around and she complained when he “looked black”. Though visually he was clearly of African Decent. Very interesting. I love the history she gave about the diaspora that landed there. This was a very engaging and interesting video.

Respect to Cartagena🇨🇴, as one of the first "free city" with African descents within the Americas in late 1770's...but I do think that the first free cities of African descents within the Americas are in my country🇧🇷. In the late 17th century(1694) we already had the history's biggest n most famous "Quilombo" of all times..."Dos Palmares" em(Alagoas🇧🇷). Built by the "run away/Africans"...it lasted almost a century "1694"... The leaders were Ganga Zumba then Zumbi...they're viewed as our Brasilian" Malcolm X n Black Panthers"... I often heard 1804 Haiti as the beginning of "Africans deportees revolts" within the Americas...which isn't exactly correct. Obviously Brasil then Colombia(South America) are the real pioneers when it comes to this...

This girl is mixed. She doesn't look fully black like me or you Tiffany. There are dark skinned non mestizo Colombians and this was an informative video but I'm pointing out the obvious because I hate it when black Americans accept everyone black. Like this girl said herself she is a Afro-Colombian but she is mixed race, period. If she did a DNA test she wouldn't be 70 - 85 % black like most ADOS/FBA Black Americans. The fact that her mom asks why she didn't have white friends is because she wanted the girl to "mejorar la raza" better the race by being with white or mixed people.
@South_American2 жыл бұрын
You are 100% correct. Latin Americans we are mostly a mixed race people. I literally laughed out loud when the girl on the left said "connect with people that look like me." Well she needs to continue looking for someone else to connect with because the girl on the right looks nothing like her.
@whereintheheardistiffany2 жыл бұрын
Lets just say she was mixed, and she is not "fully black" If she has any percentage of black she can certainly identify as black. I have cousins who are black and mexican and I would def be ok if they identified as black and not mixed. So we can't tell people how to identify because they are mixed with something. Truth be told we are all mixed with something, but our genes maybe stronger in another way color wise. I don't think black Americans except everyone as black but when they identify as black, who am I to say they are not. The comment that she referenced by her mom could only be explained by her mother but hopefully she wasn't telling her that because she thought white or mixed was better.
