I upgraded from the 12 normal to 15pro max and there were good changes as I came from a non pro iPhone . My friends who upgraded from their 12pro max to 15 pro max were not impressed. I have the black 16 and I personally think it’s amazing. I was coming from the Pacific blue 12 which I thought was the best iPhone color. The black is sleek and sexy. Definitely one of my favorite styles to date.

When apple refers to a color, I believe we should look into the color of camera housing (ch) and the side rails. The color on the other part of the backside is just supportive of the color of the phone on ch. A non clear case is assumed on the back always! I inferred this from the white color iphone and the apple silicone case colors. For eg. Look at the Ultramarine this year.

Making a big deal over smudges. The majority of people will put a case over that phone and it wouldn’t matter anyways. I don’t actually know anybody who uses the phone the way it came out of the box.
