Black Label Society, is the brain child of guitar great Zakk Wylde. I once saw Zack live in a really small venue. He played a few BLS songs. Then started this song that was just on the fly guitar thing. Walked around the place up and down the aisles bumping fists with people for at least 20 minutes and I never heard anything like it. He was playing a solo that nearly set the place on fire the whole time. He just kept going and going. It was fucking incredible.

one of my biggest inspirations is zakk wylde and dimebag, only reason why I picked up a guitar and played for 21 years, now I lost my thumb last year I had to give it up. its the most depressing thing ive ever had to go through, thankfully zakk is still here to make me feel a hell of a lot better about it. love you guys.

I've been playing since I was 11, and I'm about to be 34. I think u truly have to be a musician, that absolutely loves his craft to understand how much of a depressing thing that would have to be. It definitely does! They played this when I seen them!! Diamond Ballroom Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Doom troopin across America 🇺🇸 11/18/21 one of the best concerts! Zakk Wylde! My dad seen Randy Rhoads with Ozzy and both my parents seen Eddie Van Halen! 5/10/22 I saw Peter Townshend with Roger Daltrey in Oklahoma City definitely the best concert I been to and the only ones left of The Who that's still alive! And a friend of mine seen Pantera back in the day at Ozzfest 2001-2002 heard Dimebag can play like a motherfucker on guitar and Vince can bash away on them drums!! I've pretty much been stuck in the 60s-70s for a long time. Just learned about this band and tune tonight. I recall tearing the cellophane off Sabbath's first album the week it was released in the states. So when I went to wiki for some background on these guys I was not surprised to see they are associated with Ozzy, who was the first person I thought of when I heard Black Label Society's sound. So it seems I am still stuck in the 70s...and lovin every moment of it!!!
