BLACK LAKE - Absolutely the perfect lure for beginners and pros

This video is from a week-long fishing trip to Black Lake, New York. After a bit of experimentation, I was able to pattern the lake and found the perfect lure that enabled me to out fish my fishing partners 2 to 1, doubling their fish count by the end of the week.
This is the perfect lure for beginners and pros because of it's simple cast and retrieve format. This lure caught just about every type of fish in the lake.

I enjoyed that trip quite a bit. If I remember my largest Pike was only about 30" , but the quantity was very high. Since no more covid non sense, we're going back to Canada for our spring and fall trips

We fish there every summer. We enjoy Pleasent View Cottages. Do you have a favorite area of the lake? We tend to fish all over, but generally stay out past Elizabeth Island out of the wind.

I used to use that type of lure, but with the vibrator bell on it. Caught lots of pike in the shallower waters on the north side of the bridge in Edwardsville. After 20+ years, we tend to stay on the south end with deeper waters.
