I hope not honestly, Static is so overrated and Black Lightning never has a true spotlight when he was the first black superhero to have a comic that he was a star in. I don't want CW to drop the towel in Tobias and other BL and Outsiders stories because the fanbase claims Static, the fanbase claimed Olicity and look and how that turned out.

The superfriends had Black Vulcan and Super Sameri Golden pharo, and El Doblo so they did have Black , Asian , Egyptian , and Spanish heros just thought i would point that out. It's one of the reasons I knew at 9 that all races are equal. We have had Black Vulcan , Mr. Teriffic, Martian Manhunter, Cyborg, Amazing Man, just to name some others who DC has had through the years. It was one show that set me on my path in life and opened my mind to other races growing up with a very prejudice father. DC does minority superheros so much better then marvel. I do hope they don't get stuck in the same bad guy every week , for the first season I can understand but going forward they need to have some real villains. On a side note , I m a gay man and think it would be good to crossover Mr. Terriffic do to the extreme prejudice the Black Community has towards gay men.

I hope so, honestly i hate that gay people are all seen like butterflies or half a men, obviously the ridiculization comes from both sides since the SJW's are ruining the community fragilizing every single action instead of focusing in the important issues but anyways, we do need that because altough is a minority is still badly represented and a good representation would be having someone powerful and that being gay, black or something is just a detail, not something that we have to shove down other people's throats or be too flashy about it.

Yik Long Tay maybe not refugees but acceptance of different people.....superman kind of was a refugee, his home planet was destroyed and he ended up on earth and was taken in by the Kent family.....in a way Cress has a point

That's what Superman is there for to an extent, ge is an immigrant and that issue with his character has been tackled before so I personally think it shows his understanding of the character because not many see him that way
