So, I'd like to get this for livestreaming from my iphone or ipad with great guitar sound (and sometimes mic) but I can't figure out how the unit would connect up to my Headrush Prime unit. What the heck is the word clock supposed to hook up to? lol. The idea of no PC sounds pretty dang cool for live playing my guitar on restream / all the platforms at once / quality stereo audio on video clips of my live playing.

That is a fantastic question. Unfortunately since the headrush units do not offer spdif i/o, there is no way to bypass the headrush's convertors and interface directly to the 6x6's convertors. The best way to connect these two units in this case would be to go 1/4" trs line out out of the headrush to 1/4" trs in on the 6x6. You would then connect your phone to the otg connection on the 6x6 to be able to stream directly from the headrush to your streaming service. Enjoy!

got my 6x6 unit today and the OTG connection to an ipad pro only records one mono Left side channel on my stereo righ that is taking the two TRS Left and Right outputs on the HR Prime and going into Channel 1 and 2 on the 6x6. Not sure how to enable Stereo , or just go with one output and see if that is summed on both output channels of the recorded audio / video file. @@blacklionaudio5271

@@themetalghost Most streaming services are in mono only, so in otg standalone the unit is set to send both channels mono. For stereo use, the iPad should be connected to the usb connection instead of otg (usb mode is always stereo) and you would need to use a stereo compatible software that allows video and audio recording. It still uses the same converters but here is BLAs official statement "The conversion itself is the same but the analog signal path now employs melf resistors and it can also take advantage of the additional current available via the external power supply"

In a previous video I saw how you recommended Focal Apha 65 Evo monitor speakers. You already had Yamaha HS 5 at the time. Now I see Adam Monitors.. I am currently looking for the right monitors, but I don't understand why you are using several monitors in a short time. Greets from The Netherlands

I absolutely recommend the Alpha 65 Evo if that's your budget. These Adam A7Vs are also an amazing pick but are double the price. I switch gear because at times I get gear sent to me to review and keep what I like. Whatever your budget, if you bought either pair I'm confident you'd be happy

I like BLA sound for sure (though i don't know what else was in the chain of recording, including computer). It has everything i need (and its front looks good, too, by the way). Still i have some questions. Four years ago, being 0 (or below 0) in recording i got PreSonus iTwo. Since then i hit myself against the wall with this interface (noise, no headroom, crashing, noise), StudioOne and (that's on me) my computer (and bad electrical setup..noise). Since then i did my best and finally decided to get a new interface. Got SSL2 and to my surprise i got more noise (the more mix knob towards the input, the more noise). Maybe that unit was defective, i don't know, but i'm not coming back to it, and i don't need "extras" and funny flimsy buttons. I've ordered Topping, Ali shipped it to literally "Denis, 3 lakes, Wisconsin". With-holding my comments here. So, i am looking for a new interface still. Just want a decent sound, minimum noise, 2x2, with mix knob, no headache. Two candidates are Arturia MiniFuse2 and BLA. They have the same (almost) options, but, the main thing, what about the over-all quality? Any thoughts?
