This is for the game Ultima Online, I primarily play on Atlantic shard on OSI. This is regarding setup for the Orion client. This starts from installation, performance tips, transparency documents, in-game settings, Orion assistant settings starting with macros, hotkeys, agents, then scripts.

Reminder! This requires you to open Orion Launcher folder in your C:/, then open Orion Data. Replace the contents into the ignore_cot file, or replace it with downloaded copy and be sure to name it ignore_cot.

I might just do that, there are a few things that do need updated. Just is a lot of work, but I'll get to it at some point soon.

Another extremely useful video would be one explaining the meta combos for templates. Having the templates is one thing but if they don’t know how to properly utilize them with proper spell combos during the proper situations, it can be difficult. Just an idea, I know I would definitely benefit from it. Appreciate the vids!

I sort of started making one, it just requires me clipping a bunch of 1v1 fights to give examples - I just haven't been recording much lately so I don't have much material to work with@@KingxxCake

Either I'm so stupid I cant follow instructions or you're not explaining everything, I did everything step by step untill it came to launching the game..........(error profile not selected) You never mentioned how to add a profile :/

So... question... with uo's latest 3rd party program ban, is orion now gonna be dead in the water?!?!?

They wont do that, they basically need to create their own version of Orion or third party app that would increase the FPS, allow you to adjust screen size, and a lot more. Everyone would quit if they were forced to play on a 10 FPS client, which the original UO client is.

But ya I don't expect it will all be smooth sailing from here on out either... I'm disappointed with OSI. If you patch you can't log-in with Orion without doing some backwater method to bypass it, so tbh it might be the beginning of the end for UO unless they make some serious corrections such as making their own 3rd party client like Orion and restricting the others.

Played from 99-2006-ish then 2014-2016-ish and was told if I come back I have to know Orion. This is a big help and thank you. Curious if you have any tips for someone trying to just farm some gold with some outdated characters and equipment to get back on their feet?

Would depend on where you're starting at. I originally started farming Fire champ spawn on ATL with 2-4 characters and sell the scrolls. Might get raided once in a while, but not a bad way to get gold to start off. Then started doing Underwater solo. Over the last few years I've just bought under-priced (pvp) items on Vendor Search and put them on my vendors, but I also have a good idea of what is worth what.

Hello Does Orion have Range check last target (UOA)?

In your Orion Assistant, under the 'Main' tab, and under the Sub-tab of 'Options 1' there is a checkbox for 'max target range'. Or, you could do what I do, and use a script that I included in the details. Name of the script is 'TargetCheck', which won't drop the spell if target isn't in range, or in line of sight.

The script definitely works, it is your Orion scripts syntax that has an error in there somewhere.

Check 13:19 in the video. The checkbox that says 'Max Target Distance'.

@@blackmagic1590 is that how you cope for needing to cheat? the best pvpers win with their brain, not their scripts and cheats. without the cheats your ego gets crushed by an average pvper.

You're most likely a GK or ISS member who uses sync scripts and auto apples and dies over and over again. I made this video to help noobs like you and I even shared 100% of everything I use. Get better, stop making excuses. You will be a noob FOREVER if you don't try to improve.
