The thing about laoshu505000 on why he's so successful in his interactions, in my observation, is that he studies the responses of what the "native" speaker will say when they are approached with his greetings. It really highlights his genius to understand the psychology of strangers first impressions and interactions. Love the vids man 🙏🏿

2:30 he said “should improve on the grammar”...... In my own opinion, the reason why Chinese people in US usually suggest Laoshu "should go to China to level up" is that Laoshu's level is now too high to be further improved by simply speaking to the normal Chinese people living in US....you may learn not too much from them if themselves stop learning/revising Chinese culture and seldom using Chinese in work. If possible, leveling up with professional Chinese teacher in universities, then you'll be better than 80% of native Chinese, like Christoph Rehage who has been studied in China for a couple of years. (Of course, Laoshu's level is already enough if you just want to show off, that is already fantastic!)

I am a black woman who wants to learn a Chinese language. I feel a disconnect with many Chinese people and I want to help bridge gaps in my personal life and stop paranoid thoughts that Chinese people dislike me just because I am Black. I also love the sound of the their languages. The food is mind blowing. Dim sum? Omg. Anyway, I stand with my Chinese brothers and sisters against the ignorant racist acts being perpetrated. Even though I am sometimes paranoid about how I am perceived by Chinese people, it is obvious that they are not an outwardly hateful or discriminatory interpersonally. It seems they have a culture of living their lives and taking care of their personal business. All of my personal blatant negative experiences have come from white supremacists.
@YungHandz7064 жыл бұрын
@@WeeHgt Asian people care more and discriminate on darker Skin Color more than White people, especially in East Asia and South Asia. Indians and Chinese are one of the main offenders of this. They also have less of a P.C culture of expressing this and if you understood Chinese then your feelings probably would get hurt on the ignorant and disrespectful things many of them say. It's normally to make fun of fat people in China just like it's normal to make fun of people with darker skin. I've even heard White Chinese speakers vouch for this. People not from mainland China like Taiwan and Hong Kong will most likely be more respectful to Black people.
