The thing I like most about this channel is that it doesn't sugarcoat everything about Japan, so the detractors can't say that about Renzo. He has had some very painful experiences as well in Japan, but then he has experiences like these that make the whole experience worthwhile. The key is to have an open mind and try not to let the negatives get you down.

@InstantLuc
@InstantLuc Жыл бұрын
Ironically it’s harder in many cases to get PR than citizenship. Nowadays naturalisation in Japan is straightforward. They have higher requirements for PR, but there’s a few visa routes with slightly different rules to naturalise. You will also have to give up your current citizenship to become Japanese. For most third world citizens this makes sense, but also for some people from developed countries with rigid tax rules (esp America).@@bertvsrob

The local Japanese singers that just hang around the street are usually the friendliest and most humble ones. I met one last year at Nakano Station in Tokyo on my way somewhere and ended up having a random jam session on the corner while she play guitar live and I played my lofi beats thru my beat machine. Next day she randomly took me to a Japanese punk rock show where we both moshed together. It was fire 🔥 🔥 super spontaneous tho

I was in Japan from August 2 to the 11th, and I can't believe how hot and humid the country gets. I went there during that time because I booked two weeks vacation just incase the union strikes against UPS corporate, but the Teamsters and UPS did agree with our new union contract without the strike never happening. Very fascinating how Japan has been with the cars and railway transportation compared to living in the United States because Japan was the first to pioneer the shinkansen (bullet train) in October 1964 for the Summer Olympic Games during that time. I barely spoke some Japanese even if I am only fluent in the English language. I am Filipino-America myself, and I was surprised to find a Filipino restaurant in Tokyo where a Japanese chef made my chicken adobo, which is the national dish of the Philippines. I don't know if you have any KZbin videos of you cooking Jamaican cuisine, but Jamaican jerk chicken is my ultra favorite.
