It's cowardly that Lockley changes his statements between Japan and overseas. In Japan, he takes the position that his book is nothing more than hypothetical speculation based on very little material, but overseas he asserts it as if it were historical fact. Lockley said that he had Sakujin Kirino, one of Japan's leading experts on the Honnoji Incident, fact-check ``Nobunaga and Yasuke,'' but at least Kirino himself denies that.

Thomas Lockley, who wrote "Black Samurai," just used Yasuke to make money from the black issue. The contents of the book are a gag book full of lies. Thomas says that he "checked with an expert in Japanese history," but the expert in Japanese history claims that Thomas never asked him to fact-check, proving that Thomas wrote a false article.

Black males live in fear in America because they refuse to truly fight. The average Black malenis far from a Malcolm X and simply wish for white acceptance like MLK the intergrationist. Since they are not getting acceptance they run. The Black male is searching for a place that will accept him while he doesnt accept himself, hence Africa is safer for foreigners and we are safer abroad

Mindset has to be paired with PRESENTATION too. Someone can have the best mindset, but if they don't present in a way that aligns with that story, it can be hard for someone--especially in a homogeneous society like Japan--to accept that person's deeper character. Case in point: you might be the most positive rapper ever, but if you look like a rapper, that's going to be everyone's first impression of you. They just see, "Oh, another rapper" and then proceed to make assumptions of you that you wouldn't get if you didn't wear that uniform. In America, the same thing applies. I'm mixed--and even with that, I don't really fit most stereotypes...all of it starts with how I dress and how I carry myself. My combination of features and how I present to my surroundings seem to throw people WAY off, and as a result, I don't get boxed-in the way other people of color might get. In place of that, I have a different struggle...when others around my age notice how different my hobbies and interests are to most of them--and the vocabulary I use--they look at me like I'm from Mars. Unfortunately, this has made it difficult for me to get on with my peers by virtue of having such a radically divergent taste to what's popular among people under 40. Japan has the appeal of being a place where I can be myself without the fear of such a strong amount of direct hostility. Another thing, I'm not big into drugs...and when you live in a big city in America, drugs are one of the most popular social lubricants. It's unforgivably common to jeopardize your well-being and good reputation in place of being rebellious. So right there, that excludes me from a lot of opportunities to bond with others. Japan doesn't really have a huge drug culture and it's seen largely as something foolish and negative. That is something I align with on a guttural level. Overall, I'm not saying I WILL fit in in Japan, but on paper, everything points to me being able to make a connection there that I definitely am not able to in my own country...compatible ideals, compatible interests, I'm very quiet (not shy, not a nerd/Otaku), compatible sense of decency and respect for social harmony. I don't like how influenced by clout-chasing behavior that the West has become and that there's no societal standard strong enough to keep it in check.

NOBODY IS BLACK. LOOK AT YOUR SKIN THAT IS NOT BLACK. BLACK IS A DEROGATORY TERM I.e. BLACK MAGIC BLACK LISTED BLACK BALLED BLACK HEART ALL BAD, RIGHT? NOW THINK: BLACK...PEOPLE. PEOPLE ARE SUBCONSCIOUSLY GEARED TO ASSOCIATE BLACK WITH BAD BLACK CAT IS BAD LUCK BAD GUYS WEAR BLACK MUSTA BEEN A WHITE GUY THAT STARTED ALL THAT. NOW THINK WHITE KNIGHT WHITE CHRISTMAS WHITE LIE TO WHITEN ALL GOOD AND HARMLESS, RIGHT? NOW THINK WHITE... PEOPLE. PEACE TO YOUR CHANNEL BUT THAT'S SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT YOUR TIRES ARE BLACK YOUR SKIN AND CULTURE IS NOT.

that's got to be one of the worst trades of all time. To go from a high-trust society with a rich history and generally very peaceful social norms (partially due to rigid behavioral code) to a place where drugs and crime is rampant and the justice system is very weak on it, your head has to be on a swivel, service often is TERRIBLE, our celebrities are garbage, the culture is highly dysfunctional and people who act rudely are often rewarded for it. As an American, my biggest problem with it is that we don't have a unified code of conduct that everyone respects and adheres to. That's one of main motivators for leaving America, I am ABSOLUTELY done with the false concept of "freedom" we live under. You aren't free, simply because you have to have eyes in the back of your head here.

Yello! I was so surprised that I saw you all eat a snack that my mother would make (and I continue to make) as a black person from the south. My mom would take the biggest freshest cold tomato she could find, slice it up with some salt and pepper and it is such a great tasting healthy snack. I understand the mayo too. Although we never ate it with mayo like a topping, we’d make basically the same thing as sandwiches. Literal tomato sandwiches with any combination of salt, pepper, mayo and hot sauce. Very very similar to what you all were eating here. Never seen that anywhere else. I find myself being the person introducing this snack to other people and putting them on to it. Very cool to watch it all the way in Japan. I never would have guessed.

Many people mistakenly believe that African origins are solely rooted in slavery, when in fact, a significant portion of the modern population of China can trace their genetic origins back to Africa. Research suggests that prehistoric humans may have migrated from Africa to Southeast Asia and then north to settle in China, indicating a direct genetic link between Africa and East Asia. According to a study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, modern humans originating in Africa make up the majority of the gene pool in East Asia. This research was conducted by an international scientific team and funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. It is important to acknowledge and celebrate the diverse and interconnected roots of humanity, rather than perpetuating outdated and inaccurate beliefs about African origins being solely tied to slavery.
