I really liked the voice acting presented here so, I decided to record this little scene and upload it on my channel, since I won't upload for another year I guess xD
I wish I had a 4k monitor to not have this awful aliasing too visible, but... uuh, yeah. I guess it's fine as it is now lol. Sorry for shitty quality anyway.

I love the voice acting in the blue shift mod, I just wish Michael Tsarouhas (the guy who voices the marines in the main black mesa game) was available to do some voice work for this mod too

This is a pretty good scene. Honestly it's quite sad we don't get more dialogue with the marines in Half-Life. There's alot that could be said from a few conversations. But it's very underutilized just for 3 in Half-Life. Of course there was Opposing Force but the marines there were just Duke Nukem' and arrogant 80's movie military action heroes. Nice work for whoever voiced these guys, quite well done I might add!

Finally, someone acknowledge the fact Barney carried many weapons and was the one to do the big damage in the yard. Also, their dialogues makes me sad they gonna die minutes later. These types of conversations makes the marines aware of what has been going on around them, something felt missing from HL1 and Black Mesa for most of it. Looking forward to see if the team has any plans for more dialogues in "Power Struggle" and maybe "A Leap Of Faith"

Man they (CC and HECU Collectives) Should make them Grunts became Neutral in This chapter and Forget about freeman Top side Grunts, Since the top side folks could easily save their lives by evading the firefight and run away.

@@milkshakeouo6586 Yeah. Cuz most of our maps are literally reaching the limit of “sorse”, there is some optimization stuff we still need to somehow, at least try to solve. The areas are also just too big and have so much in them, it’s just impossible for an old 32 bit engine like that to take care of it all

If I’m correct, Steel Rain was named by Iraqi soldiers after experiencing multiple rockets being launched. So, it may not be referring to the tank, but rather referring to the air strikes that happen later on in both Captive Freight and We’ve Got Hostiles. Not too sure, but that’s what I think they mean.

Steel rain is synonymous with 105mm and 155mm artillery, and 227mm MRLS rocket strikes.

@@yourfellowducky2712 Judging by the soldiers' dialogue, I'm pretty sure that Gordon is in Blast Pit at this point, since they mention that he "Escaped to Silo D," which is the silo that Gordon comes to during the chapter.

Вы уверены, что закинули контент в правильное место? Если вы скачивали с ModDB, то желательно нужно удалить мод полностью, и потом уже установить по новой, как вы это делали раньше. Иначе могут быть огромные проблемы с картами или другим контентом. Но в вашем случае, если никаких изменений не произошло - вероятно было сделано что-то не так при переносе файлов.

(Надеюсь что не поздно) Сначала они обсуждают побег Фримена, затем Командир спрашивает о том, забрали ли бойцы оружие у Калхуна. Затем солдат отвечает, что у них не было времени на это, т.к нагрянули пришельцы и им пришлось по-быстрому запихать его в контейнер. На что командир офигев, приказал ему в шутку самому зайти и спросить охранника.
