That’s not the questionable ethics lab, it is way too far away. The black mesa xeno biology lab is practically next to the hydro electric dam, so how could it possibly be in the lower valley we see there, where the water is draining into the river. That what we saw is some other black mesa facility we never get to visit.

@@Armin2012 yeah I eventually realized that it is impossible for the qe lab to be in the valley.
