Had a kid that listening to nothing but black metal and dressed it through high school,was scared af of him till he came up to me (i was heavily bullied by most the men in my school so I had my guard up right away) and pretty much let me listen to his music with him and talk about it, nicest guy I ever meet, he lost his dad I think,he ended up moving schools sadly

The dude onstage who was surprised at the fan approaching him was cool to see, he really kept his composure even though he didn't like the invasion of space. Even gave the dude a hug, that's pretty awesome. The fan was excited as shit and you can tell. Stuff like that can be scary for artists though, e.g. Dimebag Darrell.

I think the founder of Sarcofago used to be in one of the first Sepultura lineups. Wagner or something, then went on to start Sarcofago. I.N.R.I is their best album. The drums start to sound fake after around 1987.

It's production methods and quality are so rare and professional, they managed to keep the drums 100% natural acoustic for what I would call a top class Technical Death Metal album with Grindcore-length songs.

Faust was 18 when the incident happened... he was basically still a teenager when everything happened. Plus, it's impossible for most people to understand the mindset that this guys had. Black Metal was extremely enticing back in the day...if you got attracted by both the music and the ideology, and took it seriously enough... you could easily lost yourself. The fact that there was no internet also played a major role. Suddenly, there are this bunch of guys from Norway (and Sweden too...folks from Finland were less extreme, at least mentally. Musically speaking that was another story) who are taking the ideology very seriously and raising havoc. That, itself, made thousands of teens everywhere interested in it. And, the thing is... the music completely fitted all this, and was different, out of the standards, otherworldly even. Without being disrespectful to the younger generations... but if you always had access to internet and everything has always been at the reach of a mouse click, it will be very difficult for you to somewhat understand what was going on in their minds.
