Okay, so I followed your advice and didn't show John L to a girl on the first date. But I _did_ mention black midi (specifically, Slow) while on a date with a guy. We'll see how well it goes But wow, I found this through Reddit and honestly wasn't expecting to get through the whole thing, but this was a great watch for someone who's relatively new to the band! Really appreciated this analysis

This was a very fun watch! Saw the guys live in early November and let me tell you, their studio mixes are one thing but they bring a whole 'nother level of insanity into their live performances, they're so LOUD, experimental and punchier then they've ever sounded in the studio. Plus, as a drummer myself, I can vouch for Morgan Simpson being a God, him and Zach Hill have been major inspirations to give more math rock inspired styles a try.

Schlagenheim is easily on my top 10 albuns of all time, that album is incredible. Also, Years Ago, Speedway and Sweater are the most underrated black midi songs. The LP3 is probably gonna be a masterpiece too. And bruh, i agree with you, bmbmbm is not acessible at all, "Near DT,MI" would be their most acessible song imo(if cavalcade didn't exist). And debate with me, Of Schlagenheim is the most unacessible song the band.
