TSMB2, I would like to sincerely thank you so much for spending God knows how many hours making this. I have probably listened to this over 100 times by now because I have found that listening to it on repeat really helps me to focus when I'm working on my dissertation, and watching the video often helps with my anxiety, so not only do I absolutely adore this Black MIDI but it has legitimately improved my life. I don't usually leave KZbin comments, but I just had to make an exception for this because I want you to know how much I appreciate your hard work :-)

To play this you must be in a slightly different position than usual. When the song begins, play like you normally would. As the song progresses, place your foot atop the piano and slowly bring your weight down on it. Eventually you shall completely lie down on the piano and carefully distribute your weight. Now, the next step may require assistance for amateurs. This can be from siblings, friends, spouses, or pets. All participating shall flop on the piano like fishes desperately gasping for fish oxygen. This requires much practice and study to succeed. It is recommended that you take several times more caffeine than usual. Any seizures that may be induced are encouraged. Others can also help by dragging their faces wherever keys seem neglected. As others may have demonstrated, random children are especially helpful for this part. They tend to become professionals in no time. Try to keep the steady pace of a cheetah who just got its cheetah girlfriend stolen by a flying monkey. Many will have passed out by the ending, but if you have not, good job. You now have three days to live

I have grown to love black MIDI and I have began to use a program called MIDI Trail and I have became addicted to downloading, watching and listening to these MIDI's
@JuvaleHigurashi9 жыл бұрын
T-this was a beautiful MIDI. I don't know if my 3970x can handle it. ;-; Like you said earlier, I like how the MIDI portrays a story. The beginning is analogous to the reign of a monarch, king, or leader of something. The phrases go up in depth as they pertain to the king's life. Later on, they get darker and essentially tell of the king's advances, whether or not they are good or bad. The first break preludes to a period of prosperity, as shown by the energetic cacaphonic notes show of the times of peace, until things happened. After that, another break follows, with a more somber tone, alluding to the king falling to some other force that ran him out of business. The energetic carthartic release of notes that follows effectively entails the king's return, revenge, and destruction of whoever stands in his way. The melodies following the next break effectively entail the second reign of the king, as the melodies increase in mood. There are nostalgic moments where there are twists on melodies shown during the king's first reign. To truly show the king has returned. The notes that follow are completely unique and are extremely complex, proving how much the king has progressed from the experience he had gained from everything. The crash point at the end shows you who is truly boss: TSMB2, the Destroyer

All of you guys are amazing for not only making this these amazing works, but sharing them with us without asking for anything in return, although I'm not sure there's anything that could adequately compensate for this. I remember how black midi was before I started following it like I do now and it has come very far and disappointed in myself that haven't been able to offer anything to this community. So I offer praise in the hopes that you notice and appreciate it. If you don't, I'm sorry, and if you do, you've made someone very happy ^__^. @Robbay3637 жыл бұрын
Well yeah otherwise it would just be noise. The point is not for all the individual notes to be heard. It creates a sort of texture. And of course you can’t forget the visual flare. It also serves as some fun competition to see how many notes you can cram in a song.
@Unacknowledged866 жыл бұрын
In the most intense parts the notes create a hum that get moved alongside the melody. I've heard this done with black midi before, but not with such "impressive" movement.

Actually if youtube fed the viewer the MIDI your phone (and probably some supercomputers, after all processor and memory access speed is finite) would crash too, KZbin converts the music into something comparable to a .wav or .mp3 file that represents the wave your speakers produce rather than the original MIDI. Which means a computer that can handle youtube at all can handle this just fine.

Listening to this while watching the video is like watching the fabric of reality being torn apart by the destroyer. Also, I loved the subtle hints of Pi in there :)
