My daughter is two months old (today) and every time I talk to my mom she says “hopefully her hair curls up or you’re gonna be out numbered in your own home” which bothers me so badly. And girl we all know the main ones saying it lol. I loathe the fact that people can’t comprehend that I love one white man, which doesn’t mean I love black people any less. Definitely has helped me build a REALLY tough skin!

The big problem with what you’re saying is that somebody’s genetic heritage doesn’t matter. Most people want to marry their own race and preserve their heritage with same race children and that’s fine too. Mixed kids have lifelong identity challenges. I’ve been in some interracial relationships and I decided it’s not for me. I wouldn’t even recommend anyone to try it. I respect everybody and all kids come from God but the truth is that same race love and same culture children is golden and should be encouraged. It’s all about avoiding problems and issues down the road in the future. 👌🏻

@@kinglistosas5010 I agree with that statement. I don’t understand why many nowadays say that’s racist. I just don’t get it. I would think people would naturally would want a same race mate and same race children to preserve their own people.

As someone who is multiracial but passes as white the most important thing you can do is educate your children to the struggles they will face if they look "too" white. Trust me it's a thing I have faced this my entire life because I look white and my sister is darker and looks more black. The black will tell you your not black enough and the white people will tell you (my sister) you are not white enough. We often growing up feeling like we don't belong anywhere and if you are passing as white you will get discrimination from the black community.

I can relate with everything you just said about having biracial kids. I have encountered more blk ppl talking about how light my babies skin tone🤦🏾‍♀️ my husband is white. I’m Nigerian and I was also made fun of growing up for being African. It has made me a stronger person and I know how to better instill confidence in my kids. I often wonder why blacks are so caught up on the skin tone of another black person? Black is black and it is beautiful no matter the shade.

My daughter is 3m & her dad is Caucasian. So far I've heard "you must look just like daddy" "when do you think she's gonna get her color?" "Well atleast she can pass for ______" people on both sides of her family has said this. And it's like I'm not trying to (Pass) my daughter off as Anything! She's black AND white and I'm not gone associate myself with people who think my daughter has to choose. I've only had one person ask if she was mine and it was right after I had her I was soooo hurt. Like MF I just went through 41 weeks of wobbling around and two days of labor for somebody to say "is this YOUR little one?"

Heyyy Chris! I started this video two days ago and have been top on the go to finish it. My son is biracial and I've experienced some if not all of the things you have and he isn't even a year old yet. 🤦‍♀️ One thing that is annoying is people always ask me what his father is. Just the other week someone asked me if his Dad is German.... ummmm I don't see why it matters. Then people tell me, oh he needs some sun, or oh he'll get darker don't worry, or he has that type of hair. My favorite was, "he's too light to be a black baby" Just ughhhh!!! Why can't my baby just be a baby?!? As far as I'm concerned, we're all mixed with something in some way anyways and it shouldn't even matter. I hope one day soon all the questions will annoy me less. Lol Thanks for sharing.

Your daughter literally has your face! My son is still a newborn and has white skin - thankfully I've not been asked if I'm the nanny but people do say, if he's mine then he shouldn't have white skin. The other day I had a guy question if he was mine, I pointed out he has all my facial features, to which he responded "his features don't matter, his skin is white; he's beautiful" 😶 so offensive!

Heyyy girlfriend. I definitely been in your shoes and yes can related to everything that you were going through because similar has happened to me too. By me being American black women and marriage to southern German white man.our adult son is 26 yrs old now. When he was baby and growing up ppl would comment on how cute he was. His skin tone is pure white just like his dad. And 5 ppl has ask me at different times was that my baby!!. i say yes. And when we go to store groceries shopping or clothes they always comment on his looks.. and few of them ask can they hold him. Thats when i say NO WAY. and when i would go to clothing store i would take my twin sister so she can keep eye on him while i try on clothes. And my husband when he goes he always push cart with him in iit. He never takes his hand off the cart the whole time only to put him back in to our truck.. but my husband did mention to me when our son was younger was his friend brought our baby a gift it was a little bracelet thing u put on baby and kids it was a alarm and i had one on me . So if someone try to take him out of cart it was super loud everyone gonna hear it.. to while i was shopping i always would put my left or right feet wrapped at button of cart so if some bump it or try to moved it my foot will feel it. Because back then when we go into stores crazy people would followed you trying to get up to the baby. And me and my husband was aware of that so he told me not to go different places or crowded around places without him. So from that day forward it was always be seen the three of us. Yes you be surprised there was a lot of weirdos who wanted other people kids. . But when one lady ask is this your kid my husband spoke up and say he father of this baby they give him look like 😳🤯and flew to another aisle. he told me for now on when ppl say is that your baby .ignore them and they didnt ask no more.. but my twin sister did was made me a t shirt that says YESSSSSS THIS IS MY BABY. I WORED IT I NEVER GOT ASK NO MORE..🤣😂👍.. and as my son got bigger and didnt want no more kids i gave the alarm bracelet to my girlfriend then she used it for all three of her kids and then kept passing it down but it sure was a lifesaver. Because i git to point i almost couldn't go places without people asking questions.. because you never know what can go wrong or happen to both of you.. my husband was our safe guard. Im 5'4 and he 7'1 nobody's bother him..i love my king of my ❤... Yes you just git to be careful of your surroundings and crowded of ppl at all times.. i love this vlog Chris ..

Just cast it off as jealousy. I could fit in to get in, but have so many trials. Just because you are a pretty mixed person doesn't mean the whole world is in love with you. Some have the false sense of acceptance and entitlement, but No not in all cases are people genuine. I remember being told that I was fortunate to have primarily all White features and tanned skin that made the perfect human by all races. I heard this. Then, there are those who felt I was trying to pass as they say. Like how are trying to pass with how you were born? They love calling me Biracial Beyonce or Puerto Rican Beyonce. But if I came back with my opinion of them, they would not like it. One exercise I did with my niececes was to say all the things that people called us and then we all laughed. I said now they can't hurt us anymore. We just took their power away. No weapons formed against us shall prosper. Remember that Chris. Prepare Maddy for the White girl comments. Then she can do the AKA step on them and make them recognize who they are talking to.

@BlackButterfly707 People are that mean. Because older adults teach their children to say these things. I was completely separated from my classmates after my friend's mom came to my class one day and said I was the only kid in the class that was not Black and was nothing like them. I couldn't be included in anything, not MLK or Black History, but they didn't do the real White kids that way. Yes it was a Black person who did that. Same for high school. A parent asked why my White Cuban freckled faced self was going to MLK celebration. Don't my people have their own thing. College the same. That's why preparation is key. I didn't mean to use Maddie name in that type of way . I mean how children these days like the old days still behave and things they say are appalling.
