I'm mixed race, just in my opinion. I feel it's good not to get too caught up in your race. Just focus on being a good person and loving others. That's really what connects us to others. I'm interested in my cultures but I don't overly identify with them. Just my opinion, lovely family
@TheBSixFam3 жыл бұрын
We appreciate your opinion and your experiences so much. This video was for fun but also an experiment to hear the thoughts of our children. We agree. When you get too caught up that’s when you eventually lose your identity. Being the best version of you is all that matters. Thank you for taking time out to watch our video!

But You have to know where you come from so you know you don’t get mixed up in the wrong crowd

@@AnythingLounge by the wrong crowd you mean the wrong black's....You see this why the conversation is important..Y'all white people kill me....Do you worry about him getting mixed up with the wrong white crowd because that is just as possible.....,,, rascist.

Loved this! You guys are the best couple and parents to be teaching your kids such good values! Keep up the good work! So so important in this day and time to be actively giving our kids opportunities to learn other cultures and that all are loved and important to the good of our world. My daughter has recently married her love who is from Fiji, a totally different culture than Canada. Very humble and compassionate people that value family and helping others. We have so much to learn from other cultures and we would be amiss if we did not take the opportunity to learn from each other. We are all created by a loving God and He asks us to love one another as He does. We need more God and more love in this world and you are a great example of that!!

Tanza Mendenhall thank you, Tanza! You said it perfectly. We need to have more compassion and patience as we learn to be respectful to all of Gods children. Much love! 💕

The way she said "melting pot" I think she's Jamaican. Cause in Jamaica our moto is : OUT OF MANY ONE PEOPLE, meaning Jamaica is a melting pot of different cultures, eg: african, indian, chinese, etc.

I expect children born after 2011 to have less problems with racism and being biracial, caz nowadays many children are being born mixed, and technology helps everyone to accept each other for our cultures and language. Like me for example, korean people have a special place in my heart. Though I know some of them are racist are black people but I chose not to be like them.
@TheBSixFam3 жыл бұрын
We think so too. Less problems with race. That would be amazing! You love who you love and find that in others no matter their race. Spread love!
@travelingdude16212 жыл бұрын
With mixing race, nobody is ever really part of a group. I don’t understand how it’s a good thing overall. It causes lots of tension with everybody. I have adult mixed race friends and I’ve personally seen how they no pure group really accepts them and feels awkward around them. It’s not about racism. There’s the loss of pride of not having your kids look like you and confuses them and society as a whole.

@travelingdude16212 жыл бұрын
There’s something sad about a race losing it’s genetic heritage on each side. Everybody is a child of God but mixed people really don’t look like anybody. People do have the freedom to marry and breed with other races. That said, people also have the freedom to marry and breed within their own race too. 👌🏻

I think they are teaching them right. They look like the both of them. You'll teaching them right. More trouble with white than blacks blacks except but its hard for whites to except biracial kids. You are during a great job God Bless

Hmm.i think it's worth pointing out that the children are black passing.... Especially in the U.S...We have alot of blacks that look like those children who are not biracial..Who are Carmel complected...My sister and my niece are what we would call high yellow...They very much lighter in skin than the children...And we have all black parents Grandparents and great grandparents...We don't see Thier skin as a Biracial anomaly..Its just a normal skin tone to us....I think it's important because they will be seen readily as black...They won't stop to ask if you have a white parent.... Before bring mean to them...Also I think it's important to go to a school that is not predominantly white....it would be good to have a mix of black classmates as well......But anyways you have a beautiful family...just my thoughts God bless..
