Fun fact: he wasn't killed by Erlang in this fight. He killed himself cuz he's immortal, only wukong can kill wukong. Erlang played along to help wukong in order for wukong to get rid of the headband, which was granted by Buddha to Tang Monk to control the monkey. I've finished the game, and it's truly amazing. Wukong just wants to be free, as long as he has the headband on he'll never truly be free and under control of Celestial Court forever

At the end of the 3 chapter the story shows about a monster who produce riches from his body and in the story it is shown that the monster is talking to an individual named "Jin Chanzi", Jin chanzi was a buddhist who was cast down to mortal realm because of he was distracted during teachings (tang sazang or xuanzang is the reincarnation of jin chanzi, xuanzang was the master of wukong who was aid by sun wukong in his journey to the west). here the monster is named huang mei who is actually yellow brow and he made a bet with jin chanzi. Huang Mei believes that human nature is evil, while Jin Chanzi believes that human nature is good, evil needs to be stimulated and guided. So Huang Mei turned into a monster (probably a tapir) and Pretend to be rescued by villagers from a poor fishing villages. After being rescued, he deliberately gave them health, wealth, and food, and was finally worshipped as a god by the villagers but In the end, as it shown that huang mei was killed by "greedy" villagers thus making him the winner of the bet, But what Jin Chanzi meant was that Huang Mei could have avoided this ending. If he had chosen a less poor village, the villagers might not have been so greedy or If he turned into a human being instead of an ugly monster, perhaps the villagers would worship him as a god from the bottom of their hearts. If the treasure is given in a way that does not intentionally harm oneself (even if it is done behind the villagers' back), the villagers will not harm him. If he hadn't deliberately laid down and pretended to be weak after being beaten by the villagers (the villagers were even able to get up after being hit by such a big monster), the villagers would not have lost control. In fact, you can see that when the man who stabbed Huang Mei started to walk forward, his collar was hanging in the air. It was because Huang Mei used his magic power to pull his collar, and it was as if someone supported the evil thoughts in his heart, and he began to rush forward (huang mei also tried to do the same with the destined one when he was caught in magical groud/pot, where he tried to make the destined one submerged into hatred). but did this victory meant anything jin chanzi didn't think so.
