On the time of partition my grandfather was 11 years old and he was living in Indian side Punjab’s city ludhiyana he migrated alone from India 🇮🇳 to Pakistan 🇵🇰 and lost his father mother even whole family in those killings. 😢. I asked him a lot about partition and he was telling me everything with wet eyes. He died in 2020 and I was in qatar 🇶🇦 on this time and couldn’t met with him at his last time. 😢. I miss him so much from (Faisalabad city ) Punjab Pakistan 🇵🇰 via Qatar 🇶🇦

I’m from Ludhiana and my grandparents use to tell me similar stories of how they had to move from Gujranwala. My grandfather used to tell me how they had to leave his older sister back because she got injured and couldn’t walk/run anymore. The whole family would’ve died if they didn’t leave her and how his parents cried leaving their eldest child to die. It’s soo sad that to appease a select few and their drive for power, so many had to die such violent deaths.

MY grandfather often use to tell me the stories of partition like how they had to migrate leaving all the belongings behind. Every time the way he use to tell us the anecdote trust me everyone in our family use to get goosebumps. I pray that no one should face this situation ever again. No community.

As someone like me whose forefathers/ancestors hails from Noakhali, East Bengal(now Bangladesh), they faced Noakhali riots and had to run away from that place to west bengal(1 year approximately before India's official partition in 1946)heard stories from my grandmother and parents about horrific incidents happens during the riots, i can totally relate to this video. Thank you Nitish sir for bringing this up. People in the down south in our country as well as non bordering states with pakistan should know the suffering of millions of fellow indians due to partition. Also my utmost respect and gratitude to nationalistic minded revolutionary like Gopal Chandra Mukherjee(Gopal patha) for saving Kolkata from jinnah's dream of inclusion of kolkata in pakistan. He literally saved whole west Bengal.

Hardly 5% of those Muslim voted for Pakistan from present day India left for Pakistan, and since India remained secular very few moved, and casualties were mostly around borders of Punjab and Bengal while Hindus were attacked from ENTIRE areas of Pakistan and present-day Bangladesh. My forefathers were from Sylhet district. We had huge areas of land which should've been valued around crores and had a huge joint family. Our forefathers were attacked and most had to flee, my grandfather was in Meghalaya Shillong for studies and was lucky but he had lost many family members who couldn't make it to India despite being so near although that time proper borders weren't marked still Muslims tried to attack and move away Hindus so that after vote they would be in majority and thus snatch our lands and join IT with East Pakistan.

It is written there that "the constitution was adopted and enforced on March 23,1956" but the correct information is Pakistan dominion status ended on March 23,1956 and the constitution was adopted and enforced on "10th April 1973" .
