Amazing year for Games Wukong Space Marine Helldivers 2 Astro Bot DBZ Sparking Zero Metaphor Refantazio IMO this year rivals 2007, all of these games at least for me surprising hits too

I get that silent hill 2 remake is supposed to have a certain look, to help it relate to the original, but it looks so washed out...

Am I the only one who thinks Wukong is mid as hell? Astrobot is my GOTY thus far, with Silent Hill 2 as runner up

I don't think it's mid but I also don't think it is GOTY. The open area in that game, while amazing looking feels empty as hell. I also don't like the fact that you are using one type of weapon. After playing Shadow of Erdtree, it's hard to say BMW is better than that DLC. Well it's not hard to say, it just isn't. Been having more fun playing games like Metaphor and Witchfire.

It’s a very good game, and many love it, but I doubt with a metacritic of 83 it will be nominated for GoTY since it is reviewers who pick the awards. I think a game has to hit the 90s to be nominated. So far My favorite has been FF7 rebirth, with Astrobot very close. I’ve been playing metaphor and it’s on track to be my new GoTY. I was not expecting that but the demo sold me on it and it’s been getting better and better.
