@pchiethegreat12 жыл бұрын
@@TigreExtremo yes and no. Loved his arc in S03 and it would be cool for them to expand on that. But to let him live kind of cheapens the gravity and weight that a death of a character tends to bring. The MCU suffers from this unfortunately, where a “death” isn’t really a death. I just hope writers of shows like the Boys don’t fall into that trap of fakeout deaths to generate interest.

The new Noir has nothing on the original Noir. Butcher was always troubled and seemed genuinely worried when OG Noir was on the hunt. He was a one man army taking on the middle east supes. Homelander always seemd relieved to have Noir by his side. OG Noir was basically Michael Myers and Batman combined.

He's been absent so far (in the present), which probably means he's going to do something in the finale. That's my theory anyway
@dark7element2 жыл бұрын
He's not absent, he was in the meeting room when the Seven gathered, drawing an awesome little cartoon character on a sheet of paper. He just hasn't been getting screentime because he's the only only member of the Seven who Homelander sorta respects and doesn't bully. Unlike A-Train and the Deep, Black Noir is actually useful, and Homelander still sees him as kind of a mentor figure, so there's no conflict.

The boys is definitely produced with the intension of shock whenever the crazy scenes happen, so it’s rather hard for me to rewatch a lot of the episodes that are about characters having dilemmas or internal conflicts (Butcher has at least 3 hours worth). But after season 3 ended, I kinda want to go back and see some of the subtle hints to why certain characters behave certain ways. Learning Noir’s past makes the dancing bunny scene a whole lot more impactful.
