2:31 some emulators have an upscaling feature which makes it look way crisper than it was originally. PPSSPP has this feature and makes PSP games look almost as good as PS2 games.

Both Desmume Nightly and melonDS supports high resolution 3D rendering. Almost any emulator that does some kind of 3D rendering supports rendering at higher resolutions, you just gotta look through the settings of the emulator.

1:35 Treyarch didn't work on the DS port. It was done by n-Space, who did the previous Call of Duty DS ports as well. In general, these kind of ports are usually off-sourced to a different smaller team, not the head studio.

Couple of notes about this video, the game is 64MB, so a 16th of a gig, not half. The online multiplayer on official servers is dead but you can still play with friends on alternative servers like wiimmfi. There's also local multiplayer (playing zombies with a friend irl was so fun). All in all it was a really good game back when it was released. Def not as good as a console/pc cod but for the platform it was on, it's possibly one of the best the ds library has to offer. Thanks for making a video about it, it's good to see someone give that game attention and not just treat it as a joke or footnote

The very first Call of Duty from 2003 will always be my favorite cause it didn't have regenerative health or the strict two weapon limit and you could select and equip a grenade like in any other FPS game like Quake 2 or Half-Life that came before. It also got an expansion pack that was pretty decent, back when expansion packs were still relevant. I still have the DS versions of COD, and a still working DS although I haven't played them in since I was a teen.

i have played black ops 1 on ds like you on my phone long ago and I recently played the 7th generation version on my potato pc . it's impressive as a ds game but comparing to original it's like you are having a fever nightmare and you're stuck whether you like it or not . but everyone has their own level of patience and you deserve a medal of monk like patience if you have finished it on ds

This was my first COD game, I remember putting 2000 hours in this and unlocking everything in multiplayer, got to round 89 in zombies before the game crashed, and found the snowman with a crossbow easter egg. Black Ops for the DS is such a weird technological marvel and oddly charming game, Great childhood memories.

I actually got this for my 10th birthday, the cartdrige slot was damaged, so, to play it, i had to use tape, but GOODNESS GRACIOUS, that was actually my introduction to Call of Duty, and that as in 2019! I actually have the "Collector" achievement, which, yeah, its pretty rad!

I played this as a kid. Played loads of multiplayer when it was in its prime. I remember there was an op gun in multiplayer you could get(explosive crossbow) and the only way to get it was using every gun in singleplayer. Then In the firing range you would walk thru a hidden do and there was a snowman holding the crossbow. Man it feels like yesterday, I'm getting old😢

Nintendo ds zombies was hard. You had throwing knifes and the map house, facility.... you can download remakes of ds zombies on black ops 3 pc! Its cool. It was creepy because everytime a match of zombies began you heard an evil laugh at the start then an erie song that would play... unique to the ds and isnt heard on other versions of black ops 1.

Fun fact: when the 3ds came out. Activision assumed Nspace would do the call of dutys on the 3ds and have another do the cods on ps vita, due to the ds being so popular im sure activision wanted dibs on whatever amount money nintendo was gonna print. N space after their titled Heroes of Ruin, (this game was a 4p coop dungeon crawler with online play and VOICE CHAT ON THE 3DS) said hell nah, cause the heroes of ruin game didnt sell well and didnt do so hot, they believed the 3ds was too much of a gimmick and wouldnt sell as much as the og ds, well uhh they were wrong. Fast forward some more Nspace shut down their studio in 2016. This was after they released a steam titled it didnt so hot cause they were accused of "plagiarism" on their last title "Sword Coast Legends" however idk if it was a rumor at the time not really sure cant find anything on it.
