when you mean stretch do you mean scale? and importing 3d models you created? I believe you have to do that through the asset editor, which i haven't used yet.

Nope I mean stretch it to the left or to the right by clicking outside of the selection like you do at 4:48 of your video.But for me I tried to make a turn a cube box to triangle but the edges are not straight

if your trying to make a triangle you can use the cut, or use walls and rotate them

Just started playing Zombies on pc 4 weeks ago. Played WAW on ps3 a long time ago so that's what got me into zombies. And i'm trying out bo3 custom maps and got some ideas myself on what a fun map would be. I have made maps before with radiant but that was mohradiant and the year was 2001-2004 :) But this could be fun to relearn and try to make a map. Like some of the custom maps like "one window challange" and "Zombie tower". So i guess my point is, Thanks for the tutorial :) i'll be back to watch more

I see it's A LOT like (the old) radiant for COD1/2/UO/4. Only really familiar with those, when the games were still relevant. Glad they kept the main shortcuts and layout of the program. Will have to try it out soon! Good video, very helpful (and also in refreshing my memory)!

It's worth noting that there are additional DLC assets for the BO3 mod tools that are "hidden" on Steam. From your library, you need to right-click on the (BO3) Mod Tools > Properties > DLC However, it's about a 90 GB download.

For people having the black white lighting bug in 2021 on Windows, change the decimal symbol from "," to "." in you country & language options. Reinstall mod tools and you're good to go.

for the errors don't delete the sun light it will not work if you launch the map to test it,and for the crash with windows you have to change somewhere(i don't know where) the date/time ,put a dot instead of a comma like so : 9,00am -> 9.00am

What are the minimum specs needed for mod tools? I'm trying to buy a pc that's capable of handling the tools, but I'm not trying to pay for anything expensive. At most I'm looking to spend nowhere over $700

I bought a pc for 300$, it was a hell of a deal don't expect specs like these for this price, it was last year as well. A guy on craigslist needed money to get back to his home town in NewYork he even threw in a steam account with 31 games, and a 32" ultra wide Lg monitor with 144hz.. I almost had a seizure i5-7500 MSI GTX 1060 6gb Gaming X "strongest 1060 for overclocking" 2100mhz with RGB customizable 2tb HD 240GB SSD WIndows 10 pro 500w psu silver 16GB RAM It can run any game on ultra settings with very reasonable FPS, even some 4k on medium settings, Its also a great video editing machine... if your looking to build maps, and do some video editing with the price of the GTX 1060 now gone down since the release of the 1660ti "my 1060 runs at a higher clock speed anyway, no need to upgrade" I would recommend a machine similar to mine if your not wanting to go in too deep, the GPU is the most important, you don't have to have the top of line power supply but I highly highly recommend going with 2 sticks of 8gb ram "dual channel" for a total of 16gb it just makes life so much easier when running applications, you can make it without the SSD just fine, but there not really that much anymore, and windows 10 is like 4$ on ebay for a key, your honestly better off building it yourself.

GAM3VIDZ yup. My pc right now is a workstation (for architecture) so the graphics card is focused on maths and such. That makes it so it doesnt do well for games. Even though i have 16 RAM and i7 i still get 1fps on lowest settings bo3 XD. Mapping will probably do fine on this card but i wont be able to test it XD.

hey , I have an issue and am desperately looking for help. This may not be active but I'll give it a go. So after made a map on Radiant for like the third time I loaded it up and it was fine , following that i fixed some mistakes in radiant with my map then i did the ritual of pressing ctrl s and saving only to discover that after i compiled my map nothing that i fixed showed up, my maps would not update it seems as if i only can create a map once, and cannot go back and fix it . Yea you would work on different areas on your own and then save them as prefab then send to the other person and then put them in and line them up. Or if the person is doing coding could send the files once done etc. Just make sure you back up a lot incase corruption happens etc.
