Black Ops 6 and Treyarch this year have, I think from what I've seen introduced the single largest innovation to the movement systems since MW19 and the tac sprint era where the movement has tried to be as "fluid" as possible. Well now movement will be so erratic that you’ll likely learn how to counter it, so take that as a good thing or bad thing. I see omnimovement as an absolute win that opens up many opportunities for new utility. If they have a gunrunner perk it’ll be extra crazy too lol

I want to see how organic/intuitive the prone-to-standing transition animation will be, when lying on your back. Will there be a delay, as opposed to when lying prone on your stomach? Or will it be smooth and not “get you caught in an animation” when taking a gunfight?

Just cause they didn’t have a certain feature in their games in the past doesn’t mean they couldn’t put it in or didn’t think of it yet.

@@YouReallyDontKnow yeah you’re completely right but what I’m trying to say is that Call of Duty games take very little feedback from players, and take ages to fix game breaking issues while a 100 developer company does it better. An example is when the CEO of Arrowhead literally made an online poll on whether they should release their new warbond soon or delay it. Sledgehammer really did try to take player feedback but activision being activision, they didn’t let them do a bunch of things.

From everything that we get new in terms of movement you can see that a additional year of development does a lot. Treyarch having one additional year is the best thing that could have happened. I´m still sceptical with CoD, but i´m actually looking forward to the new CoD, which I didn´t do at all since Mw 2019

I do like having more movement options compared to the older games. I just hope it’s not gonna be as jarring and over the top as some people are making it out to be. I think it will become staple features once we have our hands on it.

When it comes to the movement I'm all for it for a about 95%. The bit I think about sprinting. Moving backed is a natural slower movement, so sprinting backwards shouldn't be a sprint. And with strafing should be fast as it can be bit not sprinting speed. Run 80% speed Sprinting 100% speed Strafing 65% (left right speed Backwards 50% speed.

Tbh other then the sprinting in every direction thing, I dont think itll make that big of a difference. I rememeber when they added dolphin diving we thought it would be game breaking but no one ended up using it that much in multiplayer

I dont have a problem with it, but it just means if you’re even a decent player, your fights will be down to movement instead of gun skill. As a PC guy, at least it gives me a chance to one-up someone with AA. Time will tell, not sure if ill even buy it after everything theyve done lately.

Now you can finally pie corners and do real CQB with ur buddies. Now that character leans based on speed and momentum, you can use Limited Penetration techniques, come to doorway slowly, then lean as you pie the corner of the threshold, slice by slice, then have your buddy do a cross entry on the doorway to clear both hard corners if its a center fed room.

@@kidthekiddo8996no, not if you do it fast enough, you can do it at diff speeds based on the situation, interior you can move slower, exterior you have to move faster to get out of the open, if you are interior anyone that could shoot you in the back would have to be coming through either a window or a doorway, so you have a little more time to work with clearing corners, don’t fixate on corners, just clear and move on like a flow, this way you stay on the move, never stopping.

Honestly for me this is hit and miss. Bit late for cod bc other studios outside of cod have already made auto jump over obstacles like Division and for the leaning to peak a corner in Rainbow 6. overall mixed feelings about this. I want to see the other POV of the corner peaking so Espresso is at the corner leaning out at me how much of Espresso would i be able to see?

I’m excited for this new movement style. I’m also glad they are having zombies in BO6. My only concern is that it’s only round based and there’s no campaign to like Cold War had.
