Glad you enjoyed the game man. At least some people are. I feel like Mw[2019-2022] could've really twisted how cod played, and it did for some part, but i'll be honest, i didn't like mw2 mp as much as i liked mw. However, with BO6, changing the slow paced to a cracked out kid on Adderall [i was that kid] after getting off school form summer break. The SBMM is also incredibly brutal. But, closing statement, i m glad some people a game they can love and enjoy.

The formula lies in the 2007-2012 era. Perks, weapons, and equipment with positives and negatives. Strengths and weaknesses. All dependent on class set up. Add in attachments that model MW19 or Cold War with exact metrics to determine viability. Throw in diverse maps with verticality of all sizes, terrain, and climate conditions. Finally, remove SBMM/EOMM, cartoon skins, avoid the battle pass and drop everything at launch. Each quarter or so drop a map pack with more than 1 map. Black Ops 1 and MW3 got that right. This includes a new weapon or two. Add elements from Battlefield or Tarkov if you must. That's just multiplayer. Similar formula for campaign. Every remembers All Ghillied Up in Cod4 or the assault on the white house MW2. Do these things, without greedy underhanded tactics, and I guarantee all OGs and youngbloods will love this game and the play the shit out of it.

Based on the beta alone , gunplay is great, ttk is good in my Opinion, perks look balanced and can lean into actually building proper loadouts , the attachments look much more simplified with more understandable pros and cons , the maps definitely have verticality and so far are pretty diverse . My only gripe “albeit a small one” is to make more realistic skins suitable for the game . Mw2019-mw2023 took it just wayyyyy too far so I definitely get that …. But so far the game itself looks and feels pretty “call of duty” to me . Of course there’s the cod cycle of love and hate I’m aware, didn’t enjoy any of the recent cods except Cold War so maybe that’s why this feels good to me a bit more . I never liked the modern warfare games tbh

@nonames1139 You're not lying. I'm 32 and have played my fair share and I can tell you the ones who complained in the past were not goof at the game. I'm willing to bet if the same elements were brought back, the only complainers would be those who are not gifted with eye-hand coordination, map awareness, reflexes, and a modicum of intelligence to play effectively. From what I've seen, the gameplay is reminiscent of the past. Not quite there, but close enough. I would also add the grittiness that MW19 had. MW2 and 3 seem to vibrant, in my opinion and the operator models are too small and blend in too well with the map. Sliding, double jump, ttk, etc may be irritating but there were counters to them. Corner camper or head glitches? Rockets or explosives. Bunny hoppers? Wide pellet shotgun. Snipers? Flank them and use sitrep or equivalent perks to nullify claymores, bouncing Betty etc. Sure, there will always be those who bitch, but that number will be overshadowed by those who enjoy, and are good, at the game. Even getting your ass kicked had its merits with great gameplay and entertainment. That's how we all learned to play. From Hutch and Nasaone to MarkofJ and Nadeshot.

Gimme a rational reason against good implemented SBMM. I wouldn't touch any games like Rocket League and League of Legends without matchmaking. If you'll say 'only matched against sweats' it's likely you are one and your skill level is high. Cool, you do you. If you'll say that you 'just want to wind down and stomp with a 4.0kda' you're ignorant to the experience of other, and worse, players. 'well the bad players can play ranked if they want a fair MMR game'. No, why should they play the competitive mode for a casual evening after work? I don't know about the implementation of MMR in CoD and didn't ask for it in Black Ops 1. I'm not up to speed with the franchise in that regard. But all I'm hearing the last years sounded like whining about not being able to crush worse players without much effort. I definitely wouldn't consider myself a bad player, as I usually have a K/D of around 1.0 in most matches (in this game; in other games, my K/D is much better). The rounds mostly feel the same, with constant sweating. Then, every now and then, you have a great match where you dominate, but in the very next round, it feels like you're being punished and completely torn apart.

It's almost as, and hear me out, the game tries to make the player average an around 1 KDA 50% WR. If you don't wanna sweat in Casual, don't. MMR will adjust and Ranked probably will have a disconnected MMR. Well most games have that at least. Simple mechanic called matchmaking, ELO or whatever you wanna call it

I actually loved this beta, I've not been one for newer cod besides Warzone occasionally, I much preferred playing with bots and my brother on Ghosts, blops 2 and MW3 Spec Ops. The movement on this though is immaculate. Having just played Max Payne 3 its so crisp and cool, and the shotgun feels amazing on Pit too. Overall I had loads of fun and may actually get it on release B)

Can’t believe it but here we are and I’m actually more excited to play cod this winter than halo. Halo has been so stale. I put 2000 hours into that game. 4500 matches played. Hero rank hit in June but I have no desire to play it anymore

make sure to use 3 of the same color perks and it’ll give you a specialty which feels powerful. all red is more speed and regen after kill. all blue is wallhacks on spawn. and all green is more obj points and stuff.

The main thing im happy about is the addition of the ak74. the ak74 is arguably the most important ak besides the original and its criminal it took them this long to ad it, every other cod just had a akm or vaguely ak gun mistitled as a ak47 but in the modern games they have been more creative with the aks. CODmw1/2019 had a correctly modeled ak47 CODmw2/2022 had the ak103 and ak105 the first 100 series in cod and now in CODbo6 we finally got the ak74 lets go i can't wait to see what other guns they ad. hopeful some more long awaited guns or some more weird unique ones even tho i probably wont use them as i will be using the ak74 lol. i have been loving the game and its new features in the beta and i can't wait for zombie. cod cold war had my favorite zombies mode and if this is anything like it then its gonna be great. the campaign ill probably be neat to although im less excited for it compared to zombies.

I have played the BETA and honestly i gotta say its the most fun i have had while playing any modern video game. I didn't even rage once while playing BO6 it was just insanity and Chaos. I really hope that BO6 wont be horrible like the previous CoDs in this modern line-up. But we'll see if it lasts a month or even a week. For me it feels like if VALVe made a cod game in their glory days i don't know how else to put it. This is what video games are meant to be endless FUN

I feel like so many people in the cod community are so quick to blow their channel full of "cod x is bad and is awful" like the only ones that actually deserved it was mw3 and vanguard every other cod even ones we consider mid still had their merits and were still fun to play majority of the time.

In between the constant crashes I live through the COD app, the constant shaders preloading, the constant "update requires restart", the constant "buy the stupid fcking battle pass" pop ups every time I breathe, I have no doubt there is a quality game to be played.
