Being in Australia, the xbox showcase livestream was happening at 3 am (luckily for a public holiday and I didn't have to work till 10am) so I got up and watched it, waiting, hoping for one game to make it's appearence, a game teased in 2022, promised release in sometime 2024 (was told this in late 2024) no news since that February. A game that was solely part of my childhood. 40-45 minutes into the stream, there it was Age of Mythology: Retold, coming out 4th September 2024 (LET"S GOOO). Feel the excitement, pre-order 2 days later. Still excited, watched other streams to see their reaction... most give it a pass or don't even acknowedge it. Others (including their chats) mistake it for CIv (despite news of civ happening weeks prior). Remember Act man, go to his channel, find his full length stream, jump to the end of flintlock. "Hey, This Age of Mythology?" Me: "wait..." Act man: "I give fucks with this." Me: :') Thank You Act Man for knowing one of the best RTS games of the 2000's
